78.26, are you an IP editor or somethin', huh? huh?
No. From whence does this humorless numerical handle originate? It is the precise speed of most high-speed phonograph records (commonly called "78s") in North America. Showing why Wikipedia is not a reliable source, here is a discussion about the reason for the odd RPM.
Who I Am
Important things to know about me, after all, there is no such thing as unbiased editing, despite best intentions....
As an information junkie, I do a little of this... a little of that... Patrol recent changes for vandalism, new pages for spam, and random pages for interest. Create a few new articles (and get them nominated to Did You Know... if long enough), add to articles as I find interesting, relevant sources. Mark new articles as patrolled. Help out at Articles for Creation. I am trying to revive WP:WikiProject Record Labels. I tend to do a little each day, as I usually don't have large blocks of time. I'm hooked!
As administrator
Yes, I am an administrator, you can pick up your jaw off the floor now. If you are a fellow administrator please feel free to undo any of my admin actions without notifying me. A subsequent note explaining the error of my ways would be appreciated. If any editor feels I have erred, please feel free to talk to me about it on my talk page. I have a non-admin account, user:Shellacked!, for use in non-secure areas, or for testing purposes.
Observation
If you want to know how more than 50% of WP:ANI works, read the third strip here on page 7.
