Current requests for reduction in protection level

Request unprotection of a page, or reducing the protection level

Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.

  • To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
  • Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
  • Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
  • If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.

Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.

Current requests for edits to a protected page

Request a specific edit to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here

Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.

  • Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among {{Edit protected}}, {{Edit template-protected}}, {{Edit extended-protected}}, or {{Edit semi-protected}} to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
  • Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the {{Edit COI}} template should be used.
  • Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
  • If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
  • This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

In Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 38 she clearly states that Christ was divine from eternity.

"There had been no change in the position or authority of Christ. Lucifer's envy and misrepresentation and his claims to equality with Christ had made necessary a statement of the true position of the Son of God; but this had been the same from the beginning. Many of the angels were, however, blinded by Lucifer's deceptions." 47.176.191.146 (talk) 06:33, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

What change are you proposing? — Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:19, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done - Wikipedia does not engage in proselytising. Nothing in this request appears to have any relevance what-so-ever with the article as it is presently written. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 20:42, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

I would like to request that... (remove “ As a ruler, Sambhaji implemented drought relief measures and encouraged agricultural development while continuing his father's administrative systems. He was also a scholar who authored several works in Sanskrit and Hindustani, including the political treatise Budhbhushanam. His torture and death at the hands of the Mughal Empire elevated him to the status of a martyr. He remains popular in modern India as a symbol of Hindu self-rule.” from the page of Sambhaji. There is no basis for this and promotes disharmony.) . Sn cgh (talk) 16:09, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

@Sn cgh: You do realise that passage is in the lead section of the article, which merely summarises what the rest of the article says, right? Literally everything in that passage is covered in more detail, with sources, further down the page. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 16:26, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
The text that is indicated is in no way linked to or affirmed by the lead section. The indicated text only seems like a projection and personal opinion of the contributor without proper context. Sn cgh (talk) 16:48, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
@Sn cgh: Did you even read beyond the lead? Sambhaji#Governance, Sambhaji#Education and writings, and Sambhaji#Legacy - all sections one right after the other - cover the entirety of this passage in the article proper. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 20:36, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
I see, then perhaps it is better to include just before the following passage,“The captured Sambhaji and Kavi Kalash were taken to the fort of Bahadurgad at Pedgaon in-present-day Ahmednagar district, where Aurangzeb humiliated them by parading them wearing clown's clothes and they were subjected to insults by Mughal soldiers.”
the following quotation as context from the same source (citation 63):
add —>” G S Sardesai writes that "Fretting with bitterness of soul at having been publicly insulted and driven to desparation, Sambhaji spurned the offer of life in abuse of the Emperor ... giving free vent to his long pen-tup sentiments ... and scurrilously asked for one of Aurangzeb's daughters as the price of his friendship…”
this adds proper context to the reason behind the mode of execution chosen. Sn cgh (talk) 21:00, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
@Sn cgh: At this point this is an argument that can and should be made on Talk:Sambhaji (though I don't foresee a lot of success as this is covered in Execution of Sambhaji#Execution in less flowery language); the sources and how to present them are being actively discussed there and have been since before Chhaava came out. The talk page is not protected. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 21:05, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

Kendricks personal life tab was recently edited. The last person to edit was Saloni Jain22 as of now (5 hours ago). The incorrect information is under his personal life tab. "In an October 2012 interview, he stated that he once tried marijuana, but the blunt was laced with PCP". The drug last started is incorrect and should be replaced with "angel dust" or more commonly known as, cocaine. The link that is attached is a YouTube video with kendrick literally stating verbatim. he has also referenced this is two songs on his GOOD Kid MAAD city album. Once at the end of "Peer Pressure" and again in m.a.a.d city he refers to it making him "foam at the mouth".
