Use Preferred Pronouns

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Gender_identity calls for articles to use "the person's most recent expressed self-identification". Chairman French has identified Chairman French's pronouns as "Chairmen French" as of February 24th, 2025: "“I prefer to be called Chairman French,” French said. “That’s my preferred pronoun.”" (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/wyoming-resident-purposely-misgenders-senator_n_67bcbf05e4b05645f4fefee7) TenuousAngel (talk) 08:36, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

By the councillady’s own admission, individuals cannot be compelled to use her preferred pronouns. See https://www.wyoleg.gov/Legislation/2025/SF0077 184.98.35.3 (talk) 13:38, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If this was the Wyoming legislator that would apply, but this is Wikipedia, so Wikipedia rules should apply. 2600:1010:B333:5674:9C21:6D1F:7A31:C80B (talk) 21:02, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
