Miotragocerus is an extinct genus of bovine bovid that once lived in Europe in 12 to 8 million years ago. They were most likely browsers, according to their fossilized teeth and jaw shape.[1][2] They were likely to have lived near bodies of water, such as many antelope species today.
Description
M. gluten possessed teeth that were brachydont to sub-hypsodont in their morphology.[3]
