Mazaka is a 2025 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film by Trinadha Rao Nakkina from a story written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. It was produced by Razesh Danda and Umesh KR Bansal, under Hasya Movies and Zee Studios. It features Sundeep Kishan, Ritu Varma, Anshu, and Rao Ramesh in the lead roles.[3]
The film was extensively shot in Visakhapatnam.[4] It was released on 26 February 2025.[5]
Plot
It revolves around Krishna a carefree, fun-loving young man who is always caught up in humorous situations. He lives in Visakhapatnam and works in a small office, often finding himself in trouble due to his reckless behavior and lack of responsibility. Despite his carefree attitude, he harbors a deep emotional connection with Meera, a woman from his past whom he still loves.
The story takes a turn when Krishna’s father, Venkata Ramana, tries to arrange a marriage for him with Yashoda, the daughter of a rich businessman. However, Krishna is not interested in the match and continues to avoid his father’s wishes, leading to humorous conflicts. As Krishna's life becomes more chaotic, he inadvertently gets entangled in a series of misunderstandings involving his friends and family, which only escalate his troubles.
Alongside the comedy, the film explores emotional and familial themes as Krishna comes to terms with his responsibilities, love, and his relationship with his father. The narrative unfolds with light-hearted humor, offering moments of laughter while also delving into the emotional growth of the protagonist.
As the movie progresses, Krishna must decide between following his heart and settling down with Meera or complying with his father's wishes for a secure future with Yashoda. In the end, he realizes that love, family, and personal growth are more important than chasing after fleeting moments of joy.
