Harrison David Armstrong (born 19 January 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or left winger for EFL Championship club Derby County, on loan from Premier League club Everton.[2]
Club career
Born in the West Derby suburb of Liverpool, Armstrong is a product of the Everton academy and joined Everton at the age of five years-old.[3][4] He progressed from the Everton Under-18s into the Under-21s during the 2023–24 season.[5]
Armstrong signed his first professional contract in July 2024, signing a three-year deal.[6] He featured for Everton first team in pre-season matches that summer against AS Roma and Salford City, and scoring a goal in a friendly match victory against Motherwell.[7][8] He was subsequently named among the match-day substitutes for Everton on the opening day of the 2024–25 Premier League season at home against Brighton and Hove Albion on 17 August 2024.[9] He made his Premier League debut for Everton away against Tottenham Hotspur on 24 August 2024.[10]
On 3 February 2025, Armstrong joined Championship club Derby County, on loan until the end of the 2024–25 season.[11]
International career
On 11 October 2024, Armstrong made his England U18 debut during a 2-0 defeat to Sweden in Marbella.[12]
