Alaaeddine Ajaraie (Arabic: علاء الدين أجاراي; born 5 January 1993) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club NorthEast United FC.[3]

Club career

On 1 August 2024, Indian Super League club NorthEast United announced the signing of Ajaraie on a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year.[4]

On 31 August 2024, Ajaraie scored in the 2024 Durand Cup final, helping NorthEast United to win their first major trophy.[5] On 3 November 2024, he became the first player ever to score in seven consecutive ISL matches at the start of a season.[6] He won three consecutive ISL Player of the Month awards, the first player to do so.[7] On 13 February 2025, he scored his 20th league goal of the season in a 2–0 away win against Jamshedpur FC, surpassing Bartholomew Ogbeche and Coro's joint record for the most goals scored in a single ISL season.[8]
