Question from 404hugo

Could you please provide further clarification on why my article was deleted? I dedicated significant time to ensuring that it adhered to a neutral point of view and met Wikipedia’s content guidelines. I would appreciate specific feedback so I can address any concerns appropriately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 404hugo (talk • contribs) 21:26, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@404hugo: I think you've gotten a bit tripped up! No worries, it's a bit confusing to follow. You wrote a page at 123 Management & co, which was moved to 123 Management & Co. by CycloneYoris and then moved to this draft page, where you can still work on it, by Velella :) I just did some cleanup after the page moves. As to why it was draftified, I think you need to show that the article meets the notability guideline for organizations – you need to find multiple sources that are independent of 123 Management, editorially controlled and fact-checked, and provide significant coverage of the subject. If you can find and add those sources, the article would pass the notability guideline. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 21:34, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the clarification! I appreciate the cleanup work you've done. I understand now that the article was moved to draft space because more independent sources are needed to demonstrate notability. I will focus on finding and adding reliable, third-party sources that provide significant coverage of 123 Management & Co. to meet the notability guidelines. Thanks again for your guidance, and I’ll work on improving the article to ensure it meets Wikipedia's standards. 404hugo (talk) 21:46, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty Cure

I have some concerns, I am ready to assist on anything today but I have a major problem, when I was trying to mark the List of Pretty Cure Max Heart episodes page for speedy deletion due to an already existing one being used I was trying to put the templates in and (accidentally) put the C5D template to mark for speedy deletion alongside the a10 template however idk if the page was done by the sock master itself …and idk if it might conflict the template's rules. Any advice can be appreciated… VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 02:53, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, @VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004! I've deleted per A10; it doesn't qualify for G5 unless it's specifically block evasion (i.e. sock of an an already-blocked master). I, uh... why is the article currently at that title? That's a pretty nasty title. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 04:28, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The user at that point had to move to this page since it was trying to redirect to the main PCMH episode page (without the words of the show's JP name) but things went horribly wrong and managed to break the redirect to copy the entire thing. Thank you for improving article quality in February! - I pointed at a composer yesterday, as the main page had. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 00:08, 21 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

WikiCup 2025 March newsletter

The first round of the 2025 WikiCup ended on 26 February. As a reminder, we are no longer disqualifying the lowest-scoring contestants; everyone who competed in round 1 will advance to round 2 unless they have withdrawn or been banned from Wikipedia. Instead, the contestants with the highest round-point totals now receive tournament points at the end of each round. Unlike the round points in the main WikiCup table, which are reset at the end of each round, tournament points are carried over between rounds and can only be earned if a competitor is among the top 16 round-point scorers. This table shows all competitors who have received tournament points so far.

Round 1 was very competitive compared with previous years; two contestants scored more than 1,000 round points, and the top 16 contestants all scored more than 500 round points. The following competitors scored more than 800 round points:

The full scores for round 1 can be seen here. During this round, contestants have claimed 18 featured articles, 26 featured lists, 1 featured-topic article, 197 good articles, 38 good-topic articles and more than 100 Did You Know articles. In addition, competitors have worked on 23 In the News articles, and they have conducted nearly 550 reviews.

Remember that any content promoted after 26 February but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2, which begins on 1 March. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.
