David Sherrod Brandon (born February 9, 1965) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for 11 seasons for four teams in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 1987 NFL draft.[1] He was a 1986 2nd Team All-South Independent selection.

His oldest son Xzavian Brandon was a wide receiver at Minnesota and New Mexico State.[2]
His youngest son Solomon Brandon is currently a defensive end at Gardner-Webb University.
