DYK for I Forgot That You Existed

On 6 January 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article I Forgot That You Existed, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the music of Camila Cabello inspired Taylor Swift to work on the song "I Forgot That You Existed" with the producers Louis Bell and Frank Dukes? Thank you for participating in the January 2025 GAN backlog drive

The Reviewer Barnstar
Your noteworthy contribution (12 points total) helped reduce the backlog by 185 articles! Here's a token of our appreciation. IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 04:41, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've translated the article No Body, No Crime (thank you for making this into a GA, by the way) into Chinese for zh: and have started the finishing touches. It's been going well, except for the fact that the cover image is being WP:SPEEDYed there for not having a source.

Seeing as you're the one who uploaded the image, can I ask where exactly you got it?

After a cursory search with TinEye, I found that the image is part of the back cover for Evermore as shown in Discogs. If that's where you got the image, it's probably good to state that.

I hope this won't bother you too much. ItMarki (talk) 16:35, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, ItMarki, not bothering at all. I got it from All Access, which should be a reliable source for radio-related information as per Wikipedia:Singles criteria#Notes on sources. Since this is the cover that was sent to radio stations, it's logical to take it from a radio-related website. You can find "No Body, No Crime" on All Access when you type its name in their search bar "by song title". I hope I was able to help and feel free to message me if you need any further assistance! Reversion of my edit on The Black Dog (song)

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Black_Dog_(song)&oldid=1272649977

I understand that, per the discussion, Beats Per Minute is considered to be a reputable source, however their claim that The Black Dog is 'post-industrial' in genre is not reputable in the slightest. Go and listen to some post-industrial music, like prime example song 'It's In My Blood' by Coil, and then tell me it has anything in common with that song. I genuinely have no idea what the writer of that article was thinking. Furthermore I cannot find a single other source that suggests The Black Dog has anything to do with industrial music. It's my personal belief that the writer of the article has gotten this wrong in a fumbling attempt to sound more clever than he is and that this should not be the basis for how the song is described in genre terms on the site. I am redoing my edit and hope you will not revert it again. Hivedrops (talk) 08:52, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Hivedrops: Can you please read WP:GENREWARRIOR, WP:NOR, and WP:EDITING? "[...] Be particularly cautious about removing sourced content. Information in Wikipedia must be verifiable and cannot be original research." I will undo your edit for now and please do not remove sourced content again without discussing at the article's talk page or other relevant pages. Medxvo (talk) 09:42, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
