Hello, fellow wikimedian! I'm Abdul-Rauf Moshie, a passionate Wikimedian, volunteer contributor, and advocate for open knowledge. I’m a Ghanaian, Medical Imaging Professional (BSs), based in Tamale. I joined the Wikimedia Movement in February 2023, ever since , been passionately contributing to Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikiquote and other sister wikis.

My main efforts involve improving Wikipedia's medical content. I'm a cancer fight advocate leveraging wikipedia to create awareness and also engaged in mass screening and intervention exercises in rural communities. I contribute to, imrove and translate health-related wikipedia contents. I serve as a contributor on the Mozilla Commonvoice project to develop languague model for Dagbani with the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group, and I’m also a proud member of Open Foundation West Africa and Tamale Wiki Hub. I have come to make a hobby out of narrating the untold African Stories and amplifying them , advocating for gender equity, and increasing access to free knowledge through open platforms. To this effect, I'm ever ready to learn and relearn and to collaborate with fellow Wikimedians for collective impact.

My goals are to contribute towards open knowleadge advancement in Africa and to promote the visibility of wiki contents in indigenous African languages to help bridge the language coverage gap in the wikispace. And to achieve this I'll connect with people and rally behind any initiative or promote which aligns with these goals. I'm highly looking forward to that! But until then, let's continue editing, contributing to open knowledge...one wiki content at a time!

I am passionate about Researching to find and to explore new ideas and contributing them openly and freely for humanity. I love nature too and loves to keep memories of it alive for future generations through Photography and documentations in Wiki.
