Stub edit
I have replaced the general {{US-musician-stub}} with the more specific {{US-rock-musician-stub}} as a part of the Stub Sorting WikiProject. Kaiwynn 21:51, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
this is the worst article on wikipedia
Somebody needs to rewrite this article... "Paul Green is a Capitalist"?!? LMAO! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.169.230.11 (talk) 04:00, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

The Festival
The rather short-lived "Annual" festival is here in this article. I'm going to remove it from the The Paul Green School of Rock Music article as it hasn't happened in years, and is not likely to happen again. Any objections? K8 fan (talk) 04:45, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Child abuse allegations
Hi all — recent edits I made to this article appear to have led to an edit war, so I'm starting this discussion in hopes of reaching consensus. (For transparency: I'm a new user and still learning how to use the talk page, so I appreciate your patience and guidance.)
My edits concerned a recent news report alleging child abuse by the article's subject, which is obviously a sensitive contentious issue. However, the story was published by a news outlet that seems reputable (if small) and included multiple named sources, some of whom have their own BLP articles on Wikipedia. Given the subject's professional role as a child educator, I thought this news seemed relevant and merited inclusion.
An anonymous IP user reverted my edits, and subsequently reverted similar edits made by others. That IP address (@2600:1702:4B60:CA4F:99D9:204E:7966:556B) is now blocked for two weeks for edit warring.
I propose that the page is reverted back to my edits from 4 May 2025 and then we work together on further revisions. For example, I noticed other edits made to reflect the fact that not all 60 sources interviewed in the article reported child abuse, and that's an important correction. On the other hand, I do think it's relevant to include the names of the accusers who are public figures, Eric Slick and Madi Diaz.
Thoughts? Tagging users who had edits reverted: User:Tenebre.Rosso.Sangue995320, User:Destinyokhiria, User:MarvelAge91, and also User:ToBeFree, who protected the page. Thanks! Largegarbage (talk) 23:48, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- One of the concerns seemed to be that the additions relied on a single (somewhat unknown) source. Here are two more reliable sources that found it credible enough to republish:
- Iiii I I I (talk) 00:20, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
- PhilaMOCA cancels show with former Paul Green Rock Academy following misconduct allegations against founder MSN Website
- Paul Green Steps Down From National Music Tours After Allegations of Innapropriate Sexual BehaviorPhiladelphia Inquirer
It seems there are enough reputable sources to make note of these allegations. Also, The Paul Green Academy is now known as the Scott Thunes Institute for Musical Excellence which is explained on explained on the Paul Green Rock Academy website thusly "After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to turn the tours and sole leadership of the program over to Assistant Music Director Scott Thunes. He will be directing the tours under the name "Thunes Institute for Musical Excellence (TIME)." This decision reflects our commitment to ensuring the events are focused solely on the hard-working and talented students and their unforgettable performances." 170.85.71.21 (talk) 15:32, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- In light of the above discussion, I am going to make revisions to the page that reflect what appears to be the consensus. Tagging User:ToBeFree, who originally protected the page, as fyi. Largegarbage (talk) 02:13, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
Page Protection
By what grounds is this page protected? Any additions being blocked are credible and sourced and should be added to the page. At the very least, the fact that he is a former music teacher since stepping down from the tours (which was announced by PGRA) should be included - https://www.inquirer.com/entertainment/paul-green-steps-down-school-of-rock-tour-20250514.html Paul Green steps down from national music tours after allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior Goaskalice24 (talk) 05:58, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected edit request on 10 December 2025
In the section labeled Sexual Misconduct Allegations, please change "including sexual abuse" to "including sexual inappropriateness", as there are no allegations or charges of abuse. ~2025-39656-84 (talk) 04:06, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}}template. As this edit is potentially controversial, a consensus will be required before it can be implemented. Day Creature (talk) 05:10, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
