Paul Adefarasin (born 25 January 1963) is a Christian minister, author and televangelist. He hosts the weekly television religious program, Something Is About to Happen!, which is broadcast throughout Africa and Europe. Adefarasin is also the head of the House on the Rock churches headquartered in Lagos and the host of The Experience Lagos music and worship concert.[1][2][3][4]
Early life
Adefarasin was born to a Nigerian father and a Jamaican mother. He spent an ample time of his early life in the US and in Nigeria. Adefarasin founded the House on the rock Church in 1994 and got married to Ifeanyi Adefarasin a year after. He also founded the Rock Foundation, a ministry which offers social and humanitarian services such as rehabilitation and empowerment of the less privileged.[5]
Career
Adefarasin attended St Saviour’s School, Ikoyi for his Primary education, Igbobi College, Yaba for his secondary education, and University of Miami where he studied Architecture. After which he proceeded to the International Bible Institute of London where he bagged a Diploma in Christian Ministry. Since the start of his ministry, he has been known to preach a message of hope and transformation. He is also a mentee of Bishop TD Jakes, and once collaborated with the Bishop to produce “Inspired by...The Bible Experience 2”, where he played the role of God.
