Rožaje ((Serbian/Montenegrin Cyrillic: Рожаје) is a town and municipality in northeastern Montenegro. According to 2003 census, the municipality of Rožaje (Opština Rožaje) had a population of 27,562 people. The municipality is located in the geographical region of Sandžak.
Demographics
In 2003, the population of the municipality was composed of:
- Bosniaks (81.68%)
- Muslims by nationality (6.06%)
- Albanians (4.32%)
- Serbs (3.32%)
- Montenegrins (1.64%)
