Khoxtell, in reply to your email to me, the best way to add external links to an article is in the section marked "External links" at the bottom of the page. If you go to the Oshkosh Corporation article, you can see a link there to the corporation website. Wikipedia's external link policy can be found here WP:EL. Please note, though, that Wikipedia is not a collection of links. A couple of links to official Oshkosh Corporation websites would be great, but there shouldn't be a list of links for every single product they make there.

The warning message above about a copyright violation was because some of the material you added was just copy-pasted from http://www.oshkoshcorporation.com/brands/ . In reply to your email message in which you said the following: "I recently tried to add three new photos to the Oshkosh Corporation page of Oshkosh products and brands. These images are property of the Company. After uploading them, I saw a message about "speedy deletion." How can this be avoided? Do I need to upload them differently saying that they are my own photos?"

You can generally only upload photos which are in the public domain or which you yourself have created. Any photos that were taken by Oshkosh Corporation are the property of that company, and cannot be used on Wikipedia. (A small exception would be a "fair use" image of the company's logo.) No, being an employee of the company does not change anything when it comes to the right to authorize photos to be published on Wikipedia and elsewhere. There's a long and involved process to get permission (at WP:COPYREQ ). It's much simpler just to take the pictures yourself. --BaronLarf 19:51, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
