As of April 28 2007, 13 teams are guaranteed to be playing in the Premier League in 2007/08. They are; Arsenal, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Portsmouth, Reading and Tottenham Hotspur.

Of the remaining 7 teams, 3 will be relegated. One of these, Watford, has already been relegated following a 1-1 draw with Manchester City on April 21, 2007.
