Is this madness, or am I missing something? By asking users to post an email address, you are ''promoting'' spam. On talk pages and help desks we instruct users to ''never'' post an email address. Savvy users will create a throw-away address, but here we don't advise others to do so. Is this madness, or am I missing something? By asking users to post an email address, you are promoting spam. On talk pages and help desks we instruct users to never post an email address. Savvy users will create a throw-away address, but here we don't advise others to do so.
