Why did you revert it back to pelican crossing from pelicon crossing which is incorrect? Pelicon crossing is called because of the first letters from PEdestrian LIght CONtrol, nothing to do with the bird. I thought wikipedia wanted stuff written correctly? Look it up.

The IP editor you reverted this morning for unsourced BLP subsequently added a reference (diff). I determined that even with a reference the contribution was newsworthy, but not encyclopaedic WP:NOTNEWS.
