Arcs
I know this is inactive but is there anyone willing to write articles for some of the books and arcs if possible?
I've started some (but I probably won't expand them much) which you can see at Special:PrefixIndex/Draft:Warriors:. Rusty4321 talk contribs 15:47, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
Incorrect WikiProject tagging
A few pages about military people/historic battles/etc. are tagged with {{WPWarriors}} every so often, usually drafts. I've removed all the incorrect tagging I've found but more slowly trickle in all the time. I don't have a permanent solution for this problem but would be grateful for one. - TBH, some people (myself included at times) don't read the WikiProject description when tagging articles - this might be because WP:Rater doesn't show it to you. I either have to manually go to the WikiProject's page or just assume. ~ Rusty meow ~ 01:48, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- A lot of the tags I've removed were added using AfC-submit-wizard, e.g. [1] [2] --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 08:40, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hmm, yeah. AfC doesn't show you the description either. I'd bet there's a similar problem on other WikiProjects- the other day, I almost put WikiProject Writing on an English writer's page, but then I realized WikiProject Literature would be a better fit. ~ Rusty meow ~ 15:07, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- I've thought a bit more. This certainly happens to other WikiProjects, but I think the problem here specifically is that "Warriors" isn't the primary topic. When people think of warriors, they'll think of actual warriors. Perhaps renaming the template to something along the lines of "WikiProject Warrior Cats" could help. That would immediately distinguish what this project is about, although the downside is that it doesn't contain the accurate up-to-date name for the series. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 20:26, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
