Shane Byrne (motorcyclist)Shane "Shakey" ByrneShane "Shakey" ByrneCommonly used as much as the current title within the past year. Natural disambiguation may be more suitable. George Ho (talk) 05:34, 8 March 2021 (UTC) Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck 07:17, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • No opinion If they are equally used, can't see that this would achieve anything worthwhile at this time - he is past the end of his competitive career due to spinal (neck) injuries, but has been (or possibly will be, under new 'normal') in the public mindset as a commentator/pundit/expert opinion. Anyone needing to access the article would likely recognise him as either version.
There's also the promotional aspect to consider - Shakey merchandise, also the media-handle @67shakey. The name was with him since a child, but that's of no relevance to abstract-entities reading about him 'fresh'. Remember (as someone else mentioned on WP) they (the new media writers) are there to fill the column-inches - we don't get paid by the word.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 14:35, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requested add of controversy section

The controversy from 2021 is mentioned in top summary paragraph, should it be moved to a separate section as is standard? Row3x11 (talk) 00:29, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Spouse employment

Greetings Wikipedians,

This published biography of a living person makes various unsourced claims regarding the already-sourced status of a marriage, claims about the spouse's employment, and appears to be whitewashing a marginally notable harassment controversy claim.

Please reliably source these claims, and explain the encyclopedic notablity. Augmented Seventh (talk) 18:09, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
