So I've sort of become the de-facto caretaker of this page, and there have been multiple comments (such as on the News page) that this article needs major cleaning. If anyone else is watching this talk page, I could really use some tips, as I am still fairly new to Wikipedia.

For the time being, I think a good direction to go would be to restructure the company history to change it from being a mere log of their business history to a more cohesive narrative. I think we can break this into four key sections: the background to the company's formation, their initial business plan and short-term successes, their slow decline, and their recent major decline into bankruptcy. I am trying to explain to you that at the Secretary of the State of California that the business search under the title of Sears Roebuck and company would advise you that I am currently the new president and owner by majority stock ownership and the information that was updated by a unknown source is involved with changing information and it somehow affecting the company's website so I'm trying to correct the information any help from you to allow me to edit these pages would be appreciated and that's the best that I can do at this time is direct you to the site to prove to you that I am the current owner.
