The Jewish population was allowed to elect Jewish representatives to the Sejm. One of the parties was indeed Agudah. Alexander Zusia Friedman was one of the few Agudah politicians to even fill this position. JFW | T@lk00:57, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Vyshnitz
I noticed only two problems: There is mention of Vyshnitz being in the Aggudah, it should say Vyshnitz Bnei Brak, as Vyshnitz Monsey will not join Aggudah. The article also says agudah opposes secular Zionism, but the Agudah oficially oppposes Zionism of every variety, including religious Zionism. 88.154.158.4223:14, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
While I commend the inclusion of "Agudath Yisrael" as one of the other forms of the name of the organization, I find it odd that no mention is made of its being called also Agudas Israel or Agudas Yisrael (which is a redirect to World Agudath Israel, btw, not to this article...). Far be it from me to promote Ashkenazi pronunciations...however, in light of the fact that the vast majority of the membership of the organization is charedhi Ashkenazim, this seems like a rather eggregious exclusion. In the politics of Israel and in Israel at large this party is known as Agudat Yisrael so do we want to do that here and if so change Israel to Yisrael whilst we are at it? Touche Tomer, but in this instance what the Haredim may think or not think is not that crucial. IZAK10:26, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
