Liptovský Michal (Hungarian: Szentmihály) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1331.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 520 metres (1,710 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 1.59 km² (0.61 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 306 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 301 people by ethnicity 290 as Slovak, 11 as Not found out and 1 as Rusyn.
