Remondis is German multinational company for recycling, water resource management and industrial and communal services with headquarters in Lünen. Globally, it ranks among the biggest recycling firms.[1][2] Remondis operates in over 800 locations in more than 30 countries with more than 30,000 employees and an estimated revenue of 6.4 billion Euro in 2018.[3][4][5]
It is part of the Rethmann Group.[6]
Criticism
Despite to Russian invasion of Ukraine, Remondis continues to operate in Russia as of June 2023. The company has not publicly disclosed any changes regarding its activities in Russia. This ongoing business operation has raised criticism, as some advocates have called for international companies to cease operations in Russia in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.[7]
