Peter Mamawag Unabia, known locally as Sr. Pedro, is a Filipino businessman and politician who currently serves as governor of Misamis Oriental since 2022.[1] He previously served as a representative for Misamis Oriental's first congressional district and a vice mayor of the city of Gingoog.[2]

Career

Prior to his entry into politics, he worked as a detail man at Unilab. After leaving the company, he established the Cagayan de Oro branch of the Malaybalay-based Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro, a business owned by his brother named after the popular Visayan radio drama program "Ang Manok ni San Pedro" of Julian "Teban" Daan.[3]
