20 years of glamorous photo shoots and challenging catwalks! Heidi celebrates this milestone with her daughter Leni as first guest judge. Together they welcome the 100 female contestants in Munich where the first cut will be made. The models also have to impress photographer Andreas Ortner who takes their first photos on the runway.

The show will be followed by the new spin-off 'Germany's Next Topmodel Stories' which always takes you behind the scenes of the anniversary season.

The male models take the stage for the first time today in Munich where they get judged not only by Heidi, but also international supermodel Naomi Campbell. At the casting round, the contestants have to impress with their best catwalk skills under the watchful eyes of the two models. Which boys show enough promise to make Heidi and Naomi put them through to the next round?

The girls that have survived the casting continue their journey with a fitting for the designer Lessja Verlingieri where they get advice from the supermodel Kristen McMenamy. Afterwards the tension rises as the models have to master a nerve-wrecking fashion show. 26 finalist contestants have been chosen.

It's showtime for the boys as they get fitted for their first fashion show. They have to present the outfits of Karl Lagerfeld chief-designer Hun Kim on the runway, while they get judged by Heidi and her fellow supermodel Eva Herzigova. The pressure is high: Who can impress them and secures a spot in the model house?

Two big challenges are waiting for the girls this week: for a shoot with photographer Lado Alexi they have to show tears, while a butterfly walk requires a more joyful side of the models. In the end, their performances get judged by Heidi and her guest Romee Strijd.

This week Heidi receives help at judging by the grande dame of French film Catherine Deneuve and the male supermodel David Gandy. The male models have to impress them at a difficult catwalk made out of cobblestone. But prior to that, they have to show their vulnerable side at a photo shoot through their tears.

The makeover episode is always a rollercoaster ride of emotions. While the candidates sit nervously on the salon chairs, there is tension in the air. They have no idea what transformations Heidi Klum has planned for them. Will it be a dramatic cut, a bold new color or something completely unexpected? But not every candidate will change - Heidi Klum carefully selects those whose potential she thinks can be enhanced.

Exciting news for the male models: Not only do they await makeovers, but also a nude photo shoot. For the future walk with outfits made out of innovative material they then get coached by the two guest judges - first GNTM winner Lena Gercke and male model Johannes Huebl. The styling is simple, monochrome and minimalistic. Who beams themselves into the next round?

When the girls have their important sedcard shoot with photographer Yu Tsai in black and white, they get the creative freedom of bringing in their own poses or to pose elegantly on a chair. At the breathtaking location of castle Tüßling this week's live walk takes place - a fashion show inspired by the most iconic 60s looks of guest judge Twiggy.

Heidi rewards her male models with a day off as she invites them to the Münchener Hofbräuhaus. Afterwards it's back to business with a sports session and the following sedcard shoot. Who can deal with the changes in location the best? And who can impress later at the breathtaking Müller'schen Volksbad where the boys get thrown into a water catwalk?

Let's go to LA! But unfortunately not all models will move into their stylish new loft. On the catwalk they first have to prove that they deserve their spot there, or they have to fly back home right after the elimination. Their catwalk? A lush and scented green-colored carpet. Their challenge? To harmonize elegance and self-confidence.
