English: The Colours Cup was inaugurated in 2002 to mark the Golden Jubilee of the first Colours Match in December 1952. It is presented annually to the winner of the Colours Match between Dublin University Football Club and University College Dublin Football Club. The cup is in the form of a claret jug. It weighs 465 gm, is 28 cm in height, and 9 cm wide at its widest point. It is a plated cup. The inscription on the cup reads: The Colours Cup Played between D.U.F.C and U.C.D. R.F.C. The base is inscribed with the winners since the 51st Colours Match in 2002.
