In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is Alvim and the second or paternal family name is Buarque de Hollanda.
Anna Maria Alvim Buarque de Hollanda (born 12 August 1948) was the Minister of Culture of Brazil from 2011 to 2012.[1]
She worked as a singer before,[citation needed] and is the sister of Chico Buarque, Cristina Buarque, and Miúcha, and daughter of sociologist Sérgio Buarque de Holanda.
