This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Sportspeople. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Sportspeople|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Sportspeople. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

- Consensus was not to include that level of achievement at the SNG for figure skaters when it was crafted by the community, so from a wiki community guideline point of view it isn’t notable unless there is GNG level sourcing that supports that. The junior level of skating doesn’t typically get SIGCOV outside of the World Junior Championship medalists.4meter4 (talk) 06:37, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

This came up at WP:AWSE and I'm nominating it because I think it fails the WP:GNG criteria. There are ten similar cases at AWSE, all short stubs concerning Olympic competitors who did not win medals. I haven't used AFD until now, and I've decided to nominate only one initially, as advised in WP:BUNDLE. Depending on how this one goes, I may then nominate the other ten.
This was a one-line stub based on statistical information at Olympedia. I'm not sure if that should be regarded as a reliable source. I found some extra information, although it is purely routine stuff about family and profession, so I've managed to expand it a little, but the only other sailing information I've got is the name of his club. As Bentley did not win a medal at the 1956 Games, the article fails WP:NOLYMPICS, and the lack of significant coverage overall fails WP:SPORTSCRIT.
I should explain that, when I was reviewing the AWSE items earlier, I tagged numerous Olympic ones for notability and was going to leave it at that. I later realised that these eleven were created by a former editor who will not be able to take action, and so I decided to bring them to AFD.
I think the two sorting lists I've selected are okay. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do. Spartathenian (talk) 16:09, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: I found mentions of him in Swedish and Danish newspapers, but it seems to be routine match coverage: [30][31][32][33][34][35][36] These two[37][38] appear more focused on him but I'm not sure about the source. I'm leaning delete based on what I see here but it's worth noting that Swedish/Danish sources don't tend to index like some other places; I had to search those newspapers manually for his name. Subject fails WP:GNG. Cannot locate reliable, significant sources in support of the player's notability per Wikipedia's guidelines. Wikipedia is not a directory of Australian football players nor a historical document. -The Gnome (talk) 15:51, 22 February 2025 (UTC) -The Gnome (talk) 15:51, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

- Are we really still doing this? Redirect it to the list of players. That's the agreed outcome. But I hope destruction of what's been built here makes you feel good inside. And given none of those guidelines apply in any way, try actually reading those irrelevant WP:NOT pages before you so diligently linked to them. Or even better, spend your time reading WP:PURPOSE to remind yourself what Wikipedia is, rather than what it is not. The-Pope (talk) 12:19, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Instead of engaging in such a foaming, often incoherent, personal attack, an action that, you should know, does not go unpunished here, you are kindly advised to focus on the heart of the matter. Where are the sources that support the article's subject as being independently notable? As to what "has been agreed", I have no idea what you're talking about and would speculate you are confusing me for someone else. -The Gnome (talk) 19:52, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Can't wait to see what my punishment is. If you think that was "foaming, often incoherent" (that seems like a personal attack on me!), you should've seen the first draft before I toned it down. See Talk:Bill_Ockleshaw for an example of how other deletionists go about it. Have you read the Purpose document yet? Or are you too busy trying to delete articles that were legitimately created under previous guidelines? The-Pope (talk) 04:26, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- Why you are unable to simply acknowledge that you accused me of something I was not part of is no longer my concern. Sarcastic expressions such as "too busy" close down firmly all avenues of decent communication. Only this, self-evident truth: When the rules change, we change our actions accordingly. That's how it goes wherever there are rules, from society's laws to Wikipedia's policies. And now you're on your own. -The Gnome (talk) 09:17, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

- Speedy Keep. No valid argument has been given why this should be deleted when such an obvious valid alternative to deletion exists. The crusade against sports continues while others skate by with a free pass. When are we going to see the same standards applied to academics and artists or are they worthy pursuits unlike the undignified practice of grown men chasing around after a ball. Let's enforce rules for some while we ignore them for others. Incoherent foaming done for now. duffbeerforme (talk) 13:19, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- This is the second comment attacking the nominator instead of addressing the points raised in the nomination. For what little it may be worth, and as it happens, I have no idea whatsoever what on Earth is that "crusade" you are talking about, and I do not want to know! But where do you get this notion of me dismissing sports as "undignified"? It would prevent you from posting up such nonsense if you knew more about my person but, of course, I will not go there. As to the "valid argument" for deletion which you claim is absent, it is already present in the nomination: The subject lacks notability as notability is defined in Wikipedia. Importantly, Wikipedia is not a directory of all sportsmen, for any sport, from Australian-rules football to Zorb football. -The Gnome (talk) 18:00, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

Fails WP:SPORTCRIT. Really had no playing career and is only known as a football manager on the third and fourth tier in Russia. The Russian Second League might have been included in the old "professional league" list of WP:WPF. However it is very obvious that the Second League was not fully professional, consisting of 60 teams of varying strength. This would need multiple pieces of in-depth, secondary, independent coverage to pass the GNG bar. Geschichte (talk) 07:50, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

- Comment:
The nominator did not provide a statement for this one, but I assume this was inadvertent, and the same basic rationale as their other recent nominations in this topic area applies here — a GNG/NSPORTS failure for lack of significant coverage that, at best, is reliant on non-notability-supporting routine coverage.(I don't generally provide any opinion in AfDs in this topic area, and will not provide one here either.) - Keep based on WP:NEXISTS in a similar vein to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moustafa Matola. I believe in using NEXISTS sparingly, but I think this is a valid use case because 1) We know that the subject accomplished something of note (was a sprint Olympian) in reliable sources, and 2) the subject comes from a place (Malawi) where we have no newspaper archive access from his time period, and there is no access in WP:LIBRARY. Do sources exist? I would say yes, but we have no way of accessing them. Maybe we can reach out to offline sources in Malawi for contemporary coverage, but that process would take weeks at least. --Habst (talk) 15:10, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

- Keep based on WP:NEXISTS. If the subject was from an area where we have full digitized newspaper access via WP:LIBRARY and we still found no sources I would endorse deletion. But Matola is an Olympian from Malawi where we have no comprehensive online archive of coverage available. Maybe in five or ten years that will change and we can reopen the discussion.
- And no, this rationale can't and shouldn't be used to blindly keep all articles from Malawi – the difference in this case is that we have verifiable information that the subject has accomplished something of note (being among Malawi's first Olympians), the only thing we're lacking is the prose-based coverage to add color. --Habst (talk) 14:01, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- WP:MUSTBESOURCES. This vote contains no evidence for how WP:SPORTSCRIT and WP:NOLY is met. LibStar (talk) 14:34, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- @LibStar SPORTCRIT and NOLY are supplementary subject-specific guidelines, meaning that they don't have to be met at all as long as WP:N (meaning NEXISTS which is also on that page) is met. WP:N supersedes the topic-specific guidelines. --Habst (talk) 14:44, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- NEXISTS doesn't give a free pass to articles being kept when no reliable sources are provided. LibStar (talk) 14:48, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- NEXIST isn't a free pass. In this case, there's a reasonable rationale for why sources exist given the verified information we have about the subject's accomplishments. --Habst (talk) 15:01, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- You're asking for a free pass for someone that came 7th in a heat. You obviously searched for sources but couldn't find any. LibStar (talk) 15:17, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not asking for any free pass, that's not what NEXISTS is. I looked at what's available to me, but I have no way of searching the Malawian newspaper sources that we know would have covered this Olympic athlete in the 1970s. Do you have access to those? --Habst (talk) 15:52, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

- How can I provide evidence of sources if we have no access to archives that would have covered the subject? I'll happily change my !vote if you can provide evidence that you've searched a Malawian newspaper archive with coverage from this time period, and not found anything. The issue is those archives aren't accessible on the web. --Habst (talk) 16:10, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- The onus is on keep voters to demonstrate existence of stories. I suggest you look harder. LibStar (talk) 16:12, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- All you are saying and speculating is that he could have been covered in Malawian press with no evidence he was covered in a SIGCOV fashion. As an Olympic athlete, you'd might expect some international coverage. LibStar (talk) 16:15, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with you that as an Olympian we should expect international coverage to exist. Doing an offline search for this sort of info would take weeks and potentially real world money. An American athlete in a similar position would surely be covered because WP:Newspapers.com has great coverage of U.S. newspapers from the 70s. Where is the similar resource for Malawian newspapers? Until this question can be answered, invoking WP:NEXISTS for the prose-based coverage is valid as long as WP:V is met, which it is (everything on the page is currently cited to a reliable source). --Habst (talk) 18:14, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

- @LibStar, the place doesn't matter, see WP:DIDNOTWIN. What matters is if the general notability guideline, including NEXISTS, is met. But for the record, precedent has shown that top-90 Olympians are generally notable, see for example top 90 100m sprinters at the 2024, 2020, 2016, 2012, etc. Olympics. --Habst (talk) 15:11, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

"Maybe for 100m sprints but not other events"
– The subject competed in the 100m sprint, so even if that was true it doesn't apply here. Per NEXISTS, SIGCOV isn't required to be cited in the article as long as we can be sure it exists elsewhere. --Habst (talk) 13:06, 24 February 2025 (UTC)- As others have said "NEXISTS argument is patently absurd". The NEXISTS argument is patently absurd, especially given the other recent global consensus that ruled merely competing at the Olympics does not establish even a presumption of SIGCOV existing. - (notability rant) Ah, yes. The first Olympian in the history of an African nation, and almost certainly their top sprinter from the time. Has a single newspaper in the history of the nation been searched? Nope. Have any newspapers from his continent been searched? Also nope. Yet a number of users are claiming that saying he's probably notable is "patently absurd". Do you know what's actually "patently absurd"? Claiming that a nation would not cover their first-ever Olympian and probably most prominent athlete from the time. This is exactly why Wikipedia's sports notability guidelines are ridiculous. - I feel he's probably notable. The Arabic article notes that he "excelled" for his club and helped them win the top-tier Iraq championship and he "was among the best Iraqi goalkeepers of the 1980s," which is demonstrated by him being the team's goalkeeper at the Asian Games. BeanieFan11 (talk) 16:19, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

He worked with Mourinho and Camacho, and before that, the Portuguese coach Vingada described him as 'the best coach.'" It includes a long snippet from the story but it seems it might be Adul-Ridha talking rather than a sportswriter – it does say that it is only a portion of the story though. He seems likely notable to me. BeanieFan11 (talk) 16:40, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. This blog post about Adbul-Ridha contains photos of in-depth newspaper stories about him. It seems he was well-covered in Portuguese for being the first Iraqi in Portuguese football; he was known under the name "Samir Shaker" there and I found another story on him here. In addition to the Kooora post I mentioned above and the 1995 Al Riyadi newspaper I showed, this should be sufficient to keep given the circumstances (very poor access to the sources of the time). He seems to have been a star Iraqi goalkeeper and among their most prominent goalkeepers in the 1980s. Given the popularity of football in Iraq, it is all but certain he would have been significantly covered in his day. @Svartner: BeanieFan11 (talk) 16:52, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

"sometimes you'll find his name in an old almanac or brochure mentioning the old days of Hradec Králové athletics"
. So that means invoking WP:NEXISTS is valid here -- where are those old almanacs or brochures? As long as we know they exist (and we do because they're referenced in the article), Wikipedia guidelines say those should be considered in deletion discussions. --Habst (talk) 14:32, 20 February 2025 (UTC)- Nothing in the expansion suggests it would pass the WP:NATH criteria. The 1920 marathon in Prague is a different competition than the modern Prague Marathon, and with significance not exceeding the national level. Nominated by 99.142.64.153 (talk · contribs) for the following reason:
I feel she should be deleted because I couldn't find any sources that mention her competing in any Olympic events and she doesn't seem to have any coverage from local events either. I don't think this article should exist just because she was nominated for an Olympic team.
This is a procedural nomination; I am neutral. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:51, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. Her accomplishments do not appear to satisfy WP:NTRACK, and a couple of short newspaper articles are little more than announcements from her hometown paper[55] or university-related,[56][57] so WP:GNG isn't satisfied. Clarityfiend (talk) 03:51, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. Had no career on the international level, therefore only local coverage. Geschichte (talk) 11:21, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- Strong keep. Per Tilastopaja the subject was nominated for the Canadian 2016 Olympic team and competed at the 2015 World University Games advancing to the semi-finals and finals, so the statement that she "had no career on the international level" simply isn't correct. Subject was also the 2016 Bajan national champion over 100m so she fulfills WP:TRACK prong 1 and prong 4, it's incorrect to say that she doesn't satisfy NTRACK.
- Now getting to the actual coverage, above article from the Springfield News-Leader can't be dismissed outright because it's a "local paper" -- that still qualifies as "independent" per the WP:GNG definition,
"Independent of the subject" excludes works produced by the article's subject or someone affiliated with it. For example, advertising, press releases, autobiographies, and the subject's website are not considered independent
. - I've found several other high quality GNG-contributing sources, for example:
- "Guleph sprinter proves she belongs with Canada's best". Waterloo Region Record. 16 Jul 2016. p. 1. Retrieved 16 February 2025.

- "Triple threat off to blistering start". Guelph Mercury. 1 Jun 2013. p. 13. Retrieved 16 February 2025.
- The next step is to improve the article using these sources, which I think I can take on in the coming days. But the case for deletion isn't backed up by P&G with the newly found sources. --Habst (talk) 14:10, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- "Being nominated" counts for nothing in a career, and the World University Games is not an international meet - it's an international age-specific (and profession-specific, really) meet. "Strong keep" is ridiculous and you still mix in routine coverage with other coverage. Geschichte (talk) 16:29, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Geschichte, greatly respect your contributions but I disagree with both points. Being nominated can count for something in a career, just like being nominated for an award but not winning it can still be career-defining. And of course the World University Games is an international meet in the same way that the World Athletics U20 Championships is; athletes compete representing their country. I think based on the sources a strong keep view is justified. --Habst (talk) 13:35, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: the above commenter has demonstrated time and time again a lack of understanding on the difference between significant and non-significant coverage. sport.kg is not significant coverage. knews.kg is even less significant coverage - it's two sentences! azattyk.org is not significant coverage, it's 21 words. The attempt to dump such sources in AFDs and pass them for something they are not, should not be condoned. Geschichte (talk) 20:39, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Geschichte, I greatly respect your work on sportsperson articles and want to come to a shared understanding so we aren't talking past each other. Per WP:BASIC which allows for combining coverage, even by your admission we have 21 words + 2 sentences + the sport.kg coverage + the 24.kg coverage, which amounts to at least a solid paragraph of known coverage in a language that we don't understand (= probably more extant sources available to those who speak the language).
- Based the notability guidelines and existing practice, that seems like a pretty clear keep rationale? I'm open to other ideas and will change my !vote if there's some indication that there isn't anything else out there. --Habst (talk) 02:07, 14 February 2025 (UTC)

- Comment I'm not finding much about him. I note that Australian reports of the 1925 All Blacks matches often refer to him as "A. Mattson" - perhaps he used his middle name? The National Library of New Zealand has info that was a Bank officer with the National Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, and on the Executive Council of NZ Bank Officers' Guild in 1939. [63] (not that that would contribute to notability, but would round out a bio). In Papers Past, the NZ digitised newspapers, there are an article about an Alfred Mattson who was a champion dirt track rider selected for the Tourist Trophy Races on the Isle of Man in 1933 [64], and in 1935 a mention that Alfred Mattson held the NZ record for 500cc machines [65]. If that is the same person, perhaps some motor bike racing wins or records would add to his notability - someone may know or find more about that. RebeccaGreen (talk) 13:35, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

- Comment Thanks to Paora for the clarification about the motorcycle / speedway rider. I would say Redirect to the 1925 New Zealand rugby union tour of New South Wales, but none of the articles about All Blacks tours seem to have lists of the team members. Surely that would be useful information, and a way to avoid having articles about those who were not notable but still enable readers of WP to find information? There are plenty of sources which name the members of the teams. (I am not offering to add such lists. I note with interest that WP articles on All Blacks tours are very poorly referenced, and many have no in-line citations, nor do they have any tagging. It looks like the Rugby Union wikiproject has a lot of work to do!) RebeccaGreen (talk) 11:37, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

Just because it is possible to string out a healthy amount of prose from primary and non-independent sources (almost everything is cited to his governing sports organization, which is explicitly considered non-independent) does not mean the subject is actually notable. It includes all players who have played for the All Blacks, and lists their vital statistics (dates and places of birth and death, playing position, number of appearances, date range of appearances, points scored, and first-class record) and gives a potted biography, generally between one and three paragraphs long. In Mattson's case the biography is two paragraphs long, and particularly discusses the injury problems that plagued his career, and notes that he later coached the Parnell club, which is not included in other references. - Curicópedia used to be a wiki but it isn't anymore, so the "open for editing" claim is not true. You should be able to search inside the magazine, try searching Manuel Aravena. Bedivere (talk) 23:00, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- That one may be a one line mention but expect significant offline coverage. This 1981 magazine for example makes extensive coverage of his triumph at the Panamerican games. Bedivere (talk) 15:28, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- this one is a 1 line mention and not SIGCOV. LibStar (talk) 09:44, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- Comment - Curicópedia is unsourced and user-generated and can't be used as a source here, but it can certainly be used to provide information to search on. Note that the Panamerican Games didn't happen in 1981; I think that's another large-scale event that he won. I think Bedivere is right - there's likely to be a decent amount of offline material on this. Unfortunately, my Spanish is also from the 1980s. I was able to find minor mentions in 1980 fairly quickly, and small mentions here, but that looks a little bloggy. Sam Kuru (talk) 00:34, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

Non-notable figure skater. Fails WP:NSKATE; no international senior-level medals, no national championships wins. On-line searches yield nothing beyond databases, scores, or a passing mention in articles detailing her previous skating partner, who went on to have more success than she did. - Regardless of whether those describe the person's career or not, transfer sources are considered routine coverage. Social media ones are user-generated and should never be used on Wikipedia. ⋆。˚꒰ঌ Clara A. Djalim ໒꒱˚。⋆ 11:18, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- They are not user-generated. There is a very limited number of people who have access to a club's Instagram profile. However, they are primary sources and do not contribute to notability. Furthermore, some "transfer sources" are in-depth and some (many) are not, no blanket statement can be made about transfer news - e.g. some sources use the transfer news opportunity to go into detail about the player's career, abilities, personality etc. At this point, anyway, the AFD can be closed in 20 hours after the normal elapsed time. Geschichte (talk) 11:10, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

- The 8. source provides in-depth coverage of the player's entire career. The others complement practically all other remaining information. Excluding information that goes beyond the player's sporting career, there is nothing missing. Svartner (talk) 03:57, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

- None of these sources provide any coverage of him beyond listing which teams he played for and other trivial info from press releases (and the last one is a football club). - I really understand the criticism that there won't be an article dissecting the entire life of a second-tier Brazilian football player, but all the information pertinent to his sporting career is covered by the sources. - Keep per references provided by Svatner and others. I reject JoelleJay’s characterization of ref 8 as
shallow stats, not secondary analysis
as it provides coverage of the subject’s career to that point, beyond simple stats. Some of the remaining sources can be pieced together to get this past the GNG finish line. Per WP:NBIO,if the depth of coverage in any given source is not substantial, then multiple independent sources may be combined to demonstrate notability
. Frank Anchor 15:05, 15 February 2025 (UTC)- Ref 8 says
Fernando was signed by Caxias in November last year . Before that, he played for Figueirense, Grêmio Barueri, Criciúma, Moto Club, Luverdense, Deportivo Tepic, from Mexico, Itumbiara, Boa Esporte, Joinville, Brasil de Pelotas and Cascavel. This year, he played in 29 matches, 28 of which as a starter. In the Gaucho runner-up position , he played in 12 matches. In the Série D, he played in 17 matches. In fact, the defender was the team captain at various times this season.
Literally nothing in there has any depth of coverage; it's all stats one could glean from his transfermarkt profile. Nothing whatsoever useful for a biography. JoelleJay (talk) 21:04, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- Ref 8 says
- Frank Anchor is somehow correct. As long as the routine story provides more details about a specific than announcement, it can be used, but multiple sources containing significant coverage are required. ⋆。˚꒰ঌ Clara A. Djalim ໒꒱˚。⋆ 12:24, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- I see several sentences with more-than-routine details of Fonseca's career. In addition, the requirement of multiple GNG-required sources can be circumvented by pieceing together information presented in other sources, as specifically allowed by WP:NBIO (see my comment above including relevant excerpt from that guideline). Frank Anchor 14:28, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- ? Where is that in the guidelines? Merely having additional details does not make something automatically SIGCOV, especially if it's simple prosifying of stats. This also really isn't "more details" than you get in routine coverage of announcements (which is explicitly listed in NOTNEWS). JoelleJay (talk) 18:15, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- You left out the rest of the sentence you quoted from NBIO:
trivial coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not usually sufficient to establish notability.
None of the other independent sources offer more than passing mentions. JoelleJay (talk) 18:18, 17 February 2025 (UTC)- I left that out because it is not relevant here. The info surrounding transfer announcements (which are NOT primary in most cases as they are derived from and are not exact copies of the press release), along with some coverage provided by Svartner add a few sentences here-and-there of non-trivial coverage which compliments Ref 8 which was called out above. Frank Anchor 17:20, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
- It is most certainly relevant here... WP:N says
It is common for multiple newspapers or journals to publish the same story, sometimes with minor alterations or different headlines, but one story does not constitute multiple works. Several journals simultaneously publishing different articles does not always constitute multiple works, especially when the authors are relying on the same sources, and merely restating the same information.
The info in the transfer announcements, in addition to being routine (For example, routine news coverage of announcements, events, sports, or celebrities, while sometimes useful, is not by itself a sufficient basis for inclusion of the subject of that coverage
andMoreover, not all coverage in reliable sources constitutes evidence of notability for the purposes of article creation; for example [...] announcements columns [...] are all examples of coverage that may not actually support notability when examined, despite their existence as reliable sources
), is coming directly from the press releases. What little there is about him that isn't in PR is trivial. JoelleJay (talk) 18:24, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
