The Lady of the Camellias
Hi there. Thank you for reverting my incorrect edit in the The Lady of the Camellias article. I submitted a request on Commons to remove the curly quotes on commons:File:Scene from “Camille,” with Bernhardt in the Title Rôle.jpg to avoid the problem in the future. Happy editing! Thank you for reverting my broken link

List of bays of the Orkney Islands
Hi, How come you changed it to 200px instead of thumb? scope_creepTalk 08:20, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- Because there's no reason to use thumbnails if an image isn't captioned. Also, it just looks awkward and unprofessional. 200px is the standard infobox image size, so I just went with that as an arbitrary standard size. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:37, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
No response from other editors
Hi there
You made some changes to my article on Pink Peg Slax, which then got deleted. Replies I made prior to deletion were ignored. The moderators involved in the deletion didn't respond. I am hoping you might be able to advise me what to do. Please take a look at the Talk page and let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance SelfPityingStan (talk) 15:54, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, should have included this:
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pink Peg Slax#c-Liz-20241004060200-Scope creep-20240927095100
- I've worked in software development for 35 years and have yet to find a more arcane world than that of Wikipedia! SelfPityingStan (talk) 15:56, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I can help you, other than to say that calling it "your" article is a bad idea. Nobody owns a given article around here, and to imply otherwise really irritates people. Maybe ask at Requests for undeletion. They can give you a copy of the article to work on in private. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 05:38, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
Mason & Associates
Hi Sumanuil, I tried to updates the Mason & Associates page as the company has rebranded to IAMJAMES. All my changes were rejected by you though they are factually correct. To be clear Mason & Associates has rebrand to IAMJAMES. There is a new logo, new URL and new trading name. Please advise next steps, current page is incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesmasonusyd (talk • contribs) 03:22, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- Provide reliable secondary sources and make a move request on the talk page. This is Wikipedia 101, along with the fact that it's not a "page" or a "profile", but an "encyclopedia article". Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:27, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Restore Swami Swarupananda Paramhansa Dev as a Draft
Hi @[[User:Sumanuil], I am keen on working on Swami Swarupananda Paramhansa Dev article. Can you restore it as a Draft so that I can work on it? Could you kindly give me some feedback to work on. The Indian Hindu leader has over a million disciples throughout the world and would benefit from at least a wikipedia page summarizing who he is. Apologies for the inconvenience. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prrooo (talk • contribs) 04:16, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not an admin. Ask at Requests for undeletion. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:31, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
February 2025
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 21:33, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, Sumanuil,
- Today, I'm deleting dozens and dozens of expiring drafts (CSD G13s) and it looked like you were removing images from many of them and not a single edit had an edit summary explaining what you were doing or why. You're an experienced editor so I'm not sure why you would skip including an important piece of information like this so that other editors (and especially those draft creators) can understand why you were removing content. If you go into your Preferences, you can check a box that will remind you to always leave an edit summary or your edit won't go through, it's a very helpful tool. Please leave edit summaries, even brief ones, in the future. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:37, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
- It's basically all I do these days, and there's sometimes a lot of missing images. But I'll try. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 01:16, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Edit all links
Hey, can you edit all the links of Basirhat page, just add the retrieved date and the source further information in those links, if you want to add. I'll reorder all the sections chronologically by the next 48 hours. Thank you. Soham Bhattacharyya (talk) 12:22, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion revision: Holiday Extras
Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently nominated Holiday Extras for A7, G4, and G11 speedy deletion. I have a few comments:
- If you are nominating an article for speedy deletion under multiple categories, it's best to bundle the nomination. This way, it's easier for the reviewing administrator (and others) to see which categories you've selected for speedy deletion. If you nominate articles manually, you can use {{Db-multiple}}. If you use Twinkle (which I recommend), you can click "Tag with multiple criteria" under the "Tag-related options" heading.
- I have declined the G4 speedy deletion nomination because this criteria only applies to pages that are "
sufficiently identical copies
" of a deleted pages. The goal of this criterion is to stop people from recreating pages shortly after they've been deleted via discussion. Although you cannot see the deleted version of the article, common practice is to check the references and the date of the most recent AfD. In this case, the AfD was in 2017, and many sources were published after then. As such, it's unlikely G4 would apply. Don't worry -- I've made a lot of mistakes like this before! - I have declined the A7 speedy deletion nomination because the subject has a
credible claim of significance
, which "is a lower standard than notability" (see WP:SIGNIFICANCE). When trying to determine whether A7 may apply, I recommend asking whether it's possible that the topic could be notable based on the information provided. Some topics are clearly not going to be notable. For example, if I tried writing an article about my cat, I could say she's a very good girl, but she's done nothing noteworthy. Some subjects may be more difficult, such as individual monuments. Once you've determined if it's possible a subject could be notable based on the information available, ask if the claim to significance is credible. For example, if the article is a horse that weighs 15,000 pounds, it's not credible.
Anyway, the article has been deleted via G11. I just wanted to provide a bit of feedback. Let me know if you have any questions. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 08:38, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
I think I need more help correctly tagging an image?
Thank you for your input about Logo of the US Peace Memorial Foundation.png. ()
This is a trademark, considered protected as a common law trademark. I have permission to use it from the creator, who is also the founder and chair of the organization (US Peace Memorial Foundation).
Based on this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Logo_Copyright/Trademarkhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Logo_Copyright/Trademark
I had added two tags: {{Non-free logo}} {{Trademark}}
I am not sure what I should do now, or what I have done wrong. Thanks for any help you can offer.
