File:John Tinniswood with Guinness World Records plaque in 2024.jpg
Hi Sebbog. Even though the subject of File:John Tinniswood with Guinness World Records plaque in 2024.jpg is dead and a non-free image can, in priciple, be used, non-free photos sourced to news agencies like the Associated Press or Reuters, and image licensing agencies like Getty Images or Alamy are pretty much always considered to fail WP:NFCC#2 and item 7 of WP:NFC#UUI and are subject to immediate speedy deletion per WP:F7. So, you're either going to need to find another non-free image of Tinniswood to use instead or somehow find some sourced critical commentary of this particular photo in reliable sources that can be added to the article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:40, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Of course ... The article doesn't need a fair-use image then. You can delete it. - Sebbog13 (talk) 17:40, 29 November 2024 (UTC)

Norwegian election
Thanks for removing the pointless "list in Wikidata" description for February–August 1814 Norwegian Constituent Assembly election—it was a body formed specifically to draw up the constitution of Norway, and the delegates are still known as eidsvollmennene ("the Eidsvoll men"), so the election was a significant historical event. I've added a description that hopefully makes that more obvious. Not a particularly short one, though.
That said, I think {{Short description|none}} is absolutely correct for a lot of the election articles, and it's certainly better than List on Wikidata.
Anyway, I wanted to explain my perhaps abrupt edit in response to yours popping up in my watchlist. Musiconeologist (talk) 19:20, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- Addendum: I see you're from Norway . . . In that case, feel free to correct my description if it needs it! Beklager. Musiconeologist (talk) 19:23, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Musiconeologist: The reason I set the short description to "none", is because the title of the article, February–August 1814 Norwegian Constituent Assembly election, says the exact months and year, that the election is Norwegian, that it's a "Constituent Assembly" election and the word "election". Not sure if it requires a short description or not. - Sebbog13 (talk) 19:34, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- That makes sense. My logic was: as a non-Norwegian, I assumed "Constituent Assembly" was just an old name for the parliament until I read the article and the NAOB entry for eidsvollsmann. Anyway I'm not bothered either way—I just didn't like changing the edit so abruptly without explaining myself, and it seemed polite to say. Musiconeologist (talk) 20:04, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
