"The Sound of Rusic" is the seventh episode of the sixteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, which aired in February 2024.

Adam Shankman directed the episode's Rusical.

The episode's main challenge features a Rusical parody of The Sound of Music directed by Adam Shankman.[1][2] Melissa McCarthy is also a guest.

Plasma won the challenge. Megami and Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige placed in the bottom two. Megami is eliminated from the competition after losing a lip-sync to "Flowers" (2023) by Miley Cyrus.[3]

Reception

Vulture rated the episode four out of five stars.[4]
