JT Tran,, also known as The Asian Playboy, is founder of ABC’s of Attraction, Motivational Speaker and is a dating coach and pickup artist as well as an dating advice columnist. Career
Tran spoke at Yale for Master's Tea and was featured in The Yale Herald.[2]
In March 2012, Tran was interviewed live by Juju Chang on ABC's's Nightline. Chang compared him to. Jeremy Lin, John Cho, Harry Shum, Jr., and Daniel Dae Kim.[3][4] He discussed his past failures with women, attributing them to typical Asian stereotypes of having "good grades but poor social skills." He explained how he later found success by "applying his systematic engineering skills to dating," skills which he now teaches to men at ABCs of Attraction.[3][5][unreliable source?] To demonstrate the effectiveness of his methods, the TV crew followed Tran during a lecture and later into the field.[3]
