English: Miniature on fol. 6r of the Petit Livre d'Amour (Stowe MS 955) by Pierre Sala.

This miniature shows the author dropping his heart into a marguerite flower symbolizing his mistress, Marguerite Bullioud.

A portrait of Sala by Jean Perréal is found on fol. 17r. The painter left the face of Sala to be filled in by Perréal, but the miniature was left unfinished.
