examples of yellowface and portrayal of East Asians in American film and theater seem to cover substantially the same topic matter, although 'examples' seems to aspire to be more of a list article (both articles are largely examples rather than analysis) whereas 'portrayal' limits the scope to American productions, which is why I ask on this talk page whether a merge is warranted or not.
