Andrew N. Jordan
Hi, you commented about the external links. The link pointed to de.wikipedia. Looking into it i found the solution and maybe it is helpful: Mark Srednicki. I didn't knew it, but I found a red link and looked as how to resove it. However after using it, it was reverted. Is using this format not allowed? Thanks Harold Foppele (talk) 09:58, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- My comment referred to this version [1] where you had external links to https://www.chapman.edu/research/institutes-and-centers/quantum-studies/index.aspx and https://www.hajim.rochester.edu/optics/ Theroadislong (talk) 10:05, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- As per comment bye Ldm, and WP:Red it would be nice to revert the link to blue. If I set it up, would you be interested in helping me create it to the WP standard? Thanks Harold Foppele (talk) 18:32, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- That would be against the guidelines, a red link is NOT a bad thing, it indicates that we might need a new article created. Theroadislong (talk) 18:35, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Theroadislong I looked at the article about Jordan and I think there's little to nothing wrong with it. Would you mind taking a look? Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 21:39, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

Thank you
Hello @Theroadislong,
Thank you for the constructive comments you gave my draft. The blanket rejection gave by another editor seemed vague; you got right to the point.
I added multiple independent sources to back up claims made. It also gave me the chance to add more to the History section.
Thank you again. Have a great day!

Question about Draft: Hamza Ahmed
Hi @Theroadislong,
You recently declined my submission for Hamza Ahmed as a wikipedia page. I've linked the BBC's documentary about his impact as well as the guardian saying that he is "the most prominent “manosphere’” influencer in the UK" so I'm not too sure how else I can prove his notability? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Moss789 (talk) 14:48, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- Looks like you have re-submitted, perhaps the next reviewer will find it acceptable, I thought it borderline, good luck. Theroadislong (talk) 15:16, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for your clarification, I hope you have a great day. Moss789 (talk) 15:24, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
Reverted edit
Hi, you reverted my edit at Margaret Murnane, could you please explain why ? Thanks Harold Foppele (talk) 15:53, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
- You are blocked from creating articles, your addition of a link to [[Henry Kapteijn]] seems to be evading the block and gaming the system. Theroadislong (talk) 16:05, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
- Is allowed or is it not allowed? I am not blocked for editing WP articles. I gladly follow any policy, if there is one. Harold Foppele (talk) 18:19, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

@Theroadislong, can you answer my question which I asked you in my draft Draft:Giorgi Jincharadze TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 17:49, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Theroadislong You claimed that 71% of the text in my draft showed signs of AI generation. But , when I checked it in GPT ZERO. It said
- human
- We are highly confident this text is entirely human
- Chance this entire text is...
- AI 0%
- Mixed 0%
- Human 100%
- I'd appreciate it if you gave an explanation. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 16:23, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
Draft: Abdulla Al Nuaimi
@Theroadislong : Can you help me please publish this page. I dont know why he is not considered notable, can you please assist. TechEditorUAE (talk) 11:06, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- The subject simply doesn't pass the criteria at WP:GNG, how do YOU think he does? Theroadislong (talk) 11:12, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- See he has contributed in the first hand to lot of confidential project in UAE that is still done by him. Most of the global manufacturers are being partnered with him. A controversy project weas done solely by his company in middle east. see , some people may not have tagline news , but there contribution cannot be declined of. - So none of them are useful. 15:38, 13 February 2026 (UTC) Theroadislong (talk) 15:38, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Slight correction, the third one (Gulf News) does mention him once, quoting something he said, but the name is spelled 'Abdullah Al Neaimi'. Still completely useless for notability purposes. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:45, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @DoubleGrazing,@Theroadislong
- I have re edited and added few more links into the page before reposting, I have added a link where he is was a key speaker and related huwaei and dell.
- Please review and assist. TechEditorUAE (talk) 04:44, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Financial Counseling Association page denial
Hi Theroadislong,
Can you please help me understand how the updated article is written like an advertisement? I've tried to make neutral and objective and I'm wondering if I'm just to close to it to see what you're flagging.
Additionally, is it an issue with the neutrality or with the sources?
Thanks,
JadeCanary ~2026-91327-0 (talk) 16:30, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Draft:Financial Counseling Association of America - I accidentally left off the link to the draft page. ~2026-91327-0 (talk) 16:36, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @~2026-91327-0, Theroadislong may have more specific advice but, in my opinion, creating an article is one of the hardest things to do here - you need to understand almost everything about Wikipedia editing (NPOV, sourcing, verifiability, the Manual of style...) in order to create a decent article from scratch.
- It's usually a good idea to make general edits to existing articles first, in order to learn how Wikipedia works before creating an article.
- If you want to continue with your draft (there's no rush, it's not going anywhere), then it might be helpful to take a look at existing "Good articles" for similar institutions to see how our best articles are written, formatted and sourced.
- You can also look through the links I've left on your Talk page, especially Help:Your first article and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies).
- You can also ask for support at the Wikipedia:AfC Helpdesk, where experienced article creators can assist you. Blue Sonnet (talk) 21:25, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you Blue-Sonnet excellent advice. Theroadislong (talk) 21:32, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

- I tagged your user page under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion it was purely self promotion of your books. I didn't delete it I am not an admin, and please be wary of Wikipedia:No personal attacks which you are sailing close to with the current content. Theroadislong (talk) 18:01, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
Draft Submission Issues
The draft I made for Draft:Interstate 20 Business (South Carolina) keeps getting rejected by people who didn’t even review the article correctly or just not doing their job. When I asked them did you actually read it and not just span rejecting for no or lack or making up of reason like span revert at someone’s edits with sources of proof for no or lack or making up of reasons, they give me a response back in disrespectful tone. For the draft, I did have all sources and even did more edits on more sources put in the article to make it more credible. I could this move the draft to main space, but the title I have for this draft is the same for existing redirect, which I can’t delete or change it to a full article. Hope you can help me, thank you. Accusations
@Theroadislong I think I can respond better here than on Harold Foppele's talk page. It's been years since I last used Wikipedia. It was in the early days, and I remember it as a fun, interesting, and above all, friendly community. What I find now is more like a courtroom without a judge or jury. How did it get to this point? I don't understand. Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 16:13, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- You haven't responded to the comments on your talk page regarding the Henry Kapteyn article and a possible connection to another user. Theroadislong (talk) 16:18, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- If you submit Draft:Henry Kapteyn I would be happy to accept it. Theroadislong (talk) 16:27, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- But I did respond. I believe it was at Jt's talk page. I know Harold Foppele like I know you. He and I communicated over the 2 articles and shared some interest. Anyway, apology accepted. I hope we can continue to communicate amicably. I'd made a small change to the draft because Ldm1954 added another comment. Thank you for accepting the draft. Please note the change in the Early Life section. If anything needs to be changed there, please be my guest. Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 17:54, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
Thank you !
@Theroadislong Thank you for your speed and kindness. This is how I remember Wikipedia. One more question: should the tag be removed? Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 18:24, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- I was going to leave it for someone uninvolved to remove, if appropriate. Theroadislong (talk) 18:44, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, it was the best after a difficult delivery. Regards Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 18:53, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
Harold Lloyd - Get Out And Get Under - Filming Location Deleted
Based solely on a complaint by Dave.Dunford where he claims that I am not providing factual evidence and am just self promoting. I research and document filming locations. That's what I've done for over 10 years. I have a filming locations website. All the photography confirming the locations as they look today is done by me. With regards to Get Out And Get Under, take a look for yourself. Go to this page and scroll down to the Harold Lloyd entry:

Draft Submission Issue on Bellissimo Pizza
@Theroadislong Thank you for reviewing my AfC submission for Draft:Bellissimo Pizza. I’m trying to understand what specifically made it read like an advertisement and fall short on notability.
Could you please point me to 2–3 concrete examples (sentences/claims or types of sources) that caused the decline, and what kind of independent sources or structure you’d suggest to make it acceptable?
Appreciate your time.
Best regards Ruhshod09 (talk) 08:45, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- You have now re-written it in a slightly better tone however it still needs to pass WP:NCORP. Most content on Forbes.com is written by contributors or "Senior Contributors" with minimal editorial oversight, and is generally unreliable. Theroadislong (talk) 08:52, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Theroadislong — thanks for the heads-up. I’ve added the required paid/COI disclosure on my user page. I’ll continue only via the Articles for Creation process (and use talk pages for any proposals).
- Best regards Ruhshod09 (talk) 09:13, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Theroadislong — thanks for reviewing. I’ve added the required paid/COI disclosure on my user page and rewrote the draft to be more neutral. I also removed the Forbes references and added additional independent sources (Spot profile, Sostav/Pizza Marketplace on the rebrand, Kursiv/DigitalBusiness on Kazakhstan coverage). If you have a moment, could you let me know whether this is closer to meeting NCORP, or if there are specific types of sources you’d recommend adding? Thank you. Margaret Murnane
@Theroadislong Good morning. Please look at User_talk:Kj_cheetham#Margaret_Murnane. Because we've worked so well together, it might be a good idea to look into this. Regards Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 10:49, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'd be tempted to remove the unsourced awards but the tougher route would be to find reliable sources for them all. Theroadislong (talk) 10:54, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm perfectly willing to put in the time, but my question is, am I on the right track with the first eight references and the changes I've made? I honestly wonder how this article was ever accepted. I think it once had a photo. Any idea what happened to it? Or is there a new policy regarding photo's? Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 11:51, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- The article was created 19 years ago and didn't go through the WP:AFC process, your edits all appear to be improvements, a photograph would need the required licence, I'll check if there is one available at commons. Theroadislong (talk) 12:02, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

- @Theroadislong Oops, I thought I was doing the right thing by adding a red link. I'm sorry. Because there were questions about it, I read WP:RED back and forth. I couldn't find anything about images. How could I figure something like that out other than trial and error? I'd like to avoid a run-in with an editor. Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 08:44, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- Trial and error is how we all learn, no worries. Theroadislong (talk) 09:08, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

- Maybe someone should rewrite this into a readable, consistent WP:BOOK. It sometimes scratches my ears. Like in this particular case: WP:RED, WP:NOTRED, WP:MAYBERED.
- By the way, could I seduce either (or both) of you into finalizing the Draft:Andrew N. Jordan article? Also I found pictures for the other 2. Regards, Johnwilliamsiii (talk) 19:18, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'll pass I'm afraid. I'm less sure about passing WP:NPROF with that one, but good luck with it nonetheless. -Kj cheetham (talk) 19:44, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- I am also not confident with WP:NPROF or WP:NACADEMIC, perhaps User:Ldm1954 might take a look? Theroadislong (talk) 19:47, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- I do not think that I should review this one as I spent so much time removing inappropriate edits by a now banned user. (Those edits did not help the case!)
- As I said in prior comments, he is a bit marginal. His citations are close to enough for WP:NPROF#C1, but there is nothing else. His chair does not count as he is at an R2 university, and we really only look at major chairs for R1 universities. His editor role is close, but also not that strong. The awards are very minor, and perhaps should be removed. Can you find more awards?
- If the page os sent to AfD I think it is 50-50 as to whether he would be deleted (at best 60-40 in his favor). Ldm1954 (talk) 20:20, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

European Magnetism Association — revised with additional independent sources
Hello, thank you for reviewing the draft and for your helpful feedback. I have revised the article and added independent secondary sources, including references from newspapers (Le Dauphiné Libéré), external scientific institutions and organizations (Jožef Stefan Institute, Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft, Institut Néel (CNRS), Materials Research Society etc.), which document the association’s activities. I would appreciate if you could take another look at the updated version when convenient. Thank you again for your time. Best regards, Evgenia Ema-page (talk) 05:29, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

draft of American Volksporting Association
You left comments on my draft stating that the articles was "just blatant advertising" and that facts such as the organization's mission statement could not come from their own website. Frankly I'm lost - where is it supposed to come from if not from the organization itself?? I could cite the AVA 990 submission to the IRS which, would say the exact same thing. Not sure what I'm supposed to use to establish basic facts about the organization such as this.
Thanks!

File:John Humble (artist).jpg
Hi Theroadislong. I'm just curious as to why you removed File:John Humble (artist).jpg from John Humble (artist) with this edit. The file was upload as non-free content and non-free images of deceased individuals tend to be OK to use when they're used for primary identification purposes in either the main infobox or at the top of an article about the individual-in-question as long as all ten of the WP:NFCCP are met. Please note I'm not necessarily saying you're mistaken here, only just curious because the file has been tagged for speedy deletion per WP:F5 as orphaned non-free use and will end up deleted in a few days if a valid non-free use for it can't be found. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:58, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
