Invalid move operation
Hello, you moved a page back to the original name when the consensus is clearly in support of a move. 2 different editors supported the move, but you went ahead to close it. The page is Oloye Akin AlabiCameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 15:53, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hey SafariScribe, I actually came to your talk page to discuss this with you as well, I was pinged so this came to my attention. I would have to agree with @Cameremote, at least in regard to the honorific discussion in the RM. It seems like the honourific could have been removed as consensus but the name itself could be left as a result of the no consensus decision. Not quite a bartender's close, but a spit decision if you will. Would you mind expanding on your closing rational at all? Thanks, Bobby Cohn (talk) 16:40, 14 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I need help in understanding your decision regarding declining the submission of this article.
1) Regarding notability: 95% of the work written in the article is Jongho's solo schedule, the 5% is just brief mention of his main group Ateez, which is included because he's still an active member in the group. Multiple of his solo OSTs charted and one of it is nominated in Korean national award (KGMA). I believe that is notable enough for Jongho to have his article separate from the group.
2) Regarding resources: the resources listed in the articles regarding his activities are from verified Korean news with registered journalists. Can you please points out which articles are not allowed in here?
Thank you for your help 2A00:79E1:ABC:2906:E130:CD60:E42B:F9EA (talk) 16:28, 16 January 2025 (UTC)

Draft: Snowflake (Data Breach)
Hi. Thanks for reviewing my Snowflake page. You mentioned that the article does not have sufficient sourcing. Is that to say that the article itself it written fine, you would just like to see more sources? Because i can easily add more from major news outlets. This was a very major news topic. As a rule of thumb, how many should i add? If i double the sources will that be enough to resubmit? 45.229.11.57 (talk) 07:33, 16 January 2025 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker)—WikiNinja17, While I haven’t taken a careful look on the topic, I would indulge you to read WP:SUSTAINED. As you do know, Wikipedia is not a newspaper and reading through some of the sources present in the article, it seems to me as a clear case of WP:1E. Adieu Vinyle
Hello,
I created the page "Adieu Vinyle" and has been accepted earlier today. I am just wondering how to add the French language version into the language box and vice versa. Also, how do I create articles without submitting it to the creator programme because I've been I qualify for just submitting them without having to be assessed. Electricsnake247 (talk) 16:39, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
Done Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:44, 16 January 2025 (UTC)- @Electricsnake247, since you are autoconfirmed, you could easily move your drafts to mainspace through the "move button" on the right sidebar. Although one can still continue using AFC if the user is unsure of the drafts acceptance. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:52, 16 January 2025 (UTC)

Concerning Draft:UserBenchmark
Hey there! I am a semi-experienced editor here and would've made this article in mainspace had it not already been created. However, I would like help (or just a comment) on why it doesn't seem notable, as I thought the sources did meet WP:NWEB. I posted on WP:AFC/HD originally and didn't get a response, and I feel uncomfortable moving it myself, so here I am like a brand new user looking for help :) Thank you, and have a good day! win8x (talk) 23:55, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oh! Sorry for the inconvenience though, I have moved the draft to articlespace. While I am confident on the notability, I was busy oversights getting the unreliability of some sources and how the reliable ones were cited only to the "controversy" section. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:39, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oh wow, thank you! Yes they're all there, sure does reflect poorly on them does it ;) win8x (talk) 11:27, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Move discussion and disambiguation
I'm curious whether What a piece of work is a man might be the primary topic for the phrase A Piece of Work, which wasn't mentioned in the move discussion at all. It appears to have potentially been the origin of the phrase, it has significantly higher pageviews, and it's arguably much more historically significant than a podcast or documentary. If I wanted to propose this should I just open a new discussion to move the disambiguation page to A Piece of Work (disambiguation)? Would it be inappropriate to propose a new move so soon after the last one? TipsyElephant (talk) 01:40, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- Tipsy, how are you doing? I don't know if I would be the only one to oppose - how "What a piece of work is a man" relates to "A Piece of Work"- but try opening a new WP:RM; there is no deadline or time to wait after the previous close. Cheers? Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:42, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- I will take that to mean the move would be unlikly to succeed. I'll leave it alone then. Thanks for your input and for closing the discussion! TipsyElephant (talk) 12:21, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Nigerian states moves
Howdy Safari Scribe, I have noticed some moves you’ve been doing on Nigerian states (you know the ones you’ve already moved). They’re controversial and undiscussed, I have concerns, one of which includes not all of these states would make sense when moved to remove the “state” in them. I object to the already moved pages and would love you to open a discussion if you have plans on continuing to move these pages. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 17:07, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- Seconded. Please slow down and consider carefully what you are doing. You should not be displacing existing disambiguation pages, and certainly not using a round-robin swap to move the page history for such dabs to titles like "XXXX State". These should ordinarily be moved instead to "XXXX (disambiguation)". And unless there is really overwhelming evidence that the state is the primary topic, these shouldn't be considered as uncontroversial. older ≠ wiser 18:07, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- I support this point, these moves would have large implications for scores of other pages and should be discussed thoroughly. — Watercheetah99 (talk) 09:32, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- SS, any response or action from you is going to be appreciated. You should kindly revert the already moved pages and open a proper discussion on what your original reasons were, who knows, it might just be reasonable. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:49, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

- I am not denying the real fact- truth, but sympathetically, you have confused me especially on ones to move further. It is either you list the remaining or you keep moving as you have already done. Or you request a WP:RM. I don't like it when people confuses others and yet expect them do better with the confusion. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 21:43, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

Declined Draft:Salome Asega
Hello,
I hope you are well. I would like to better understand the reason you declined my draft for Artist and organization director Salome Asega (Draft:Salome Asega). You discuss notability, but as my citations show, this artist has been profiled by distinguished media sources such as The New York Times, Ebony Magazine, and Guernica Magazine, as well as highly regarded specialized art magazines such as Artforum, Cultured Magazine, Apollo Magazine, and Artnews. She is the director of an important New York cultural institution (New Inc.) that is part of the New Museum of Contemporary Art, a preeminent contemporary arts institution in the United States. Could you please clarify by what standard this person is not "notable," given that information provided is verifiable by well-regarded sources, and that there is significant coverage of this artist/art director's work?

Declined draft:Optical Pooled Screening
SafariScribe, our community is working to remove essay-like writing from our draft on Optical Pooled Screening that you declined, I am wondering if you might have a few minutes to give us a small number of specific examples of essay-style from our draft so that we have some good ideas of where we are really missing the goal for encyclopedia-style writing. This will help us revise throughout the article. We had received this comment from another editor prior to your decision to decline, and we had done some editing but we definitely fell short of where we need to be with regards to writing style. Thank you, we think your insight will be particularly helpful! Maliepedia (talk) 19:44, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

Home and Exile moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Home and Exile. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:40, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Hey man im josh, when an article is initiated especially by an established editor, it may be good faith to allow the editor to finish up for at least a day. Not everyone has the energy to write drafts because people like me may abandon it. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 15:24, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- This is why draft space exists and why something that's not yet shown to be notable should be created in main space or moved back there without any changes whatsoever. There's no sasumptions made when something is moved to draft space, just a simple statement that it needs more work. Perhaps you should self revert back to draft space until you have time to improve the article @SafariScribe. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:27, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
