Your submission at Articles for creation: Hand Embroidery Machine (February 1)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Chetsford was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Insufficient sourcing to establish WP:N

Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Embroidery, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. It's also really important for you to pay much closer attention to capitalization. The concepts of a "hand embroidery machine" and "schiffli embroidery machine" are generic and are thus not capitalized, ever, and especially not in an inconsistent fashion. Thanks for your attention to this. Julietdeltalima (talk) 18:54, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Leslie LeRoy Long (September 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Ldm1954 was:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This is currently a long essay on him, with s lot of interpretation. Wikipedia is not the place for essays. Please look at other bios and rewrite.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Editor is not listening, this remains a long essay with vast amounts of his own opinion and unsourced claims. This is not how encyclopedic articles are written.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Leslie LeRoy Long (December 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by guninvalid was:
This submission reads more like an essay than an encyclopedia article. Submissions should summarise information in secondary, reliable sources and not contain opinions or original research. Please write about the topic from a neutral point of view in an encyclopedic manner.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Gonna be honest, I stopped reading after the lede. I skimmed through the references, and a number of them are simply references to individual images (constituting WP:TRIVIALCOVERAGE), references to works by Long himself (see WP:PRIMARY), and references to obituary pieces which are not acceptable for notability, as they are considered WP:RUNOFTHEMILL coverage. As for wording, the second paragraph in particular, the one about lobbying for MOSAIC, looks especially essayish, especially since there's no direct reference drawing the connection, just his own words.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
