Sam Badi Draft rejection
I just wanted to know if you read @NeoGaze's response about Sam Badi draft and what we can do about it Chandl3r45 (talk) 10:00, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Chandl3r45. I'm going to do a source assessment to see where we are with this.
| Source | Independent? | Reliable? | Significant coverage? | Count source toward GNG? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ~ | ✘ No | |||
| ✔ Yes | ||||
| ? Unknown | ||||
| ~ Mostly an interview. | ~ Partial | |||
| ✔ Yes | ||||
| This table may not be a final or consensus view; it may summarize developing consensus, or reflect assessments of a single editor. Created using {{source assess table}}. | ||||
So - two okay sources, I'd usually be looking for three sources. Do you have any other ones that are particularly strong? qcne (talk) 18:47, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- maybe this source? Chandl3r45 (talk) 23:34, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Might work. What do you think, @NeoGaze? qcne (talk) 10:23, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I checked that source and it reads like a paid promotion, so I don't think it would be appropiate to count it as independent nor reliable. NeoGaze (talk) 10:43, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- this and this ? Chandl3r45 (talk) 14:48, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- That second one seems better NeoGaze (talk) 15:29, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- OK, so can I re-edit the draft, removing AMnotizie's sources? Could you point out any parts of the text that should be reorganized to be more neutral? Chandl3r45 (talk) 17:45, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Go ahead, the only issue I have with the draft right now is that the following statement "the brand has gained recognition among a youthful demographic by integrating ironic elements into contemporary fashion designs" should be attributed (ie: who or what medium is saying this, since its highly subjective). NeoGaze (talk) 19:31, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- it was specified in this AMnotizie source, I can still rephrase it as "the brand has gained recognition among a wide audience by integrating ironic elements and memes into contemporary fashion designs" Chandl3r45 (talk) 23:59, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I removed the reject template an attributed the statement myself. When you are finished with the draft, you can notify me for a second look, or wait for another editor to review it if you prefer that. NeoGaze (talk) 08:58, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- i guess it's ok with your fix. What do you thnk? Chandl3r45 (talk) 12:21, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- I wouldn't really approve as it is now, as I don't think its fullfills the GNG criteria. NeoGaze (talk) 14:11, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Might be worth submitting for review, @Chandl3r45, and seeing what a third reviewer thinks? qcne (talk) 14:36, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- ok, i proceed! Thanks (and finger crossed) Chandl3r45 (talk) 15:36, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- fast as light! They tell me it looks like it was written by ChatGPT :D
- Which is very unlikely since we worked on it together. What do you recommend me to do? Chandl3r45 (talk) 15:45, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Left a reply. qcne (talk) 15:51, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- That's a weird reason to decline it. I sugget waiting until more substantial coverage comes through, or the brand becomes more notable by some event. NeoGaze (talk) 16:15, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- I just discovered that Lux-Life magazine awarded Sam Badi "Best Sustainable Streetwear Brand 2025 – Italy LUXlife Sustainability Excellence Award 2025". Source here, does this seem relevant? Chandl3r45 (talk) 12:19, 31 October 2025 (UTC)

- Thanks for the mention. I’ve removed the advert and cleanup tags, and slightly neutralized some of the tone. Please consider adding stronger independent sources to help with notability. Vodnir (talk) 23:52, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Chandl3r45 and @Vodnir - my gut feeling is we're at the threshold of notability. I would probably recuse myself from reviewing as I've done so much work on the draft, but I think a reviewer could probably accept. qcne (talk) 11:12, 17 November 2025 (UTC)

- Hi @Qcne
- It's possible that my issues with Sam Badi draft can be resolved by rewriting the draft in line with Wikipedia's WP:NPOV, WP:PEACOCK and WP:PUFFERY and search about the quality resources on an independent platform according to WP:RS, WP:GNG and WP:ORG? Question from FinnDalyyy (01:56, 26 November 2025)
Remember Me? From Draft: Martina Dimoska
Hi, @Qcne! So I've taken quite a while to digest all feedback I've gotten from the Teahouse and other forums. First of all, I wanted to say thank you for your feedback specifically. It felt very scary to see that red banner on my passion project but reading comments like yours made declination better. Thank you for that. 🤎 So I'm currently working on revamping the draft and I would like to humbly request your eyes to make sure I'm on the right path. Specifically, I would like to know: 1) Does the subject (Martina Dimoska) stand a chance on Wikipedia? You mentioned some concern you had about the subject meeting the criteria. Maybe it's because of the quality of the past draft... maybe not? Maybe it's just the subject itself? I don't know, let me know what you think. 2) Am I on the right path with the references? I understand interviews are not reliable, independent sources, but what if I can't find alternatives? 3) As you would see, I took out some sentences I felt I fluffed waaaayyyyy too much and even the published research section (because I had to go knee-deep in archives to get those and if I had to go that far... then maybe it's not public enough to mention so I took it out). Do you think this was a right step to take? I know there's still a lot of work to do. I know I need to read everything line by line and ensure full compliance to the WP MoS but for now... do you think I'm on the right path? I'd really appreciate any feedback you give. Thanks! SpaceTrail (talk) 11:12, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @SpaceTrail! I'm answering on behalf of @Qcne, per their request on the NPP Discord! I'm a fellow new page reviewer, and work in the same area of the project as them! I hope my feedback is helpful to you!
- Linking this for quick access: Draft:Martina Dimoska
- This is what's classed as a WP:BLP, which means sources are held to a higher standard. At this time, the draft appears to have a substantial number of sources that are considered generally unreliable. These include WP:LINKEDIN, WP:INSTAGRAM and multiple WP:BLOGS. Interviews are considered WP:PRIMARY, and can be used, but do not contribute to notability, in this case WP:NPERSON.
- I can't comment on whether this individual is notable without doing a deeper look, but from what I can see, this draft complies with WP:NPOV and MOS:SO! I think with some sourcing improvements, this draft should have a good chance of being accepted through AfC! Happy editing! 11WB (talk) 20:07, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, @11WB! First of all, thank you so much for your response. I hope you don't mind, I have a few areas of concerns. So first of all, I had to sleep on the reliable sources list on Wikipedia and even though it was very overwhelming. So I have 38 references on the draft (if you don't count some occasional reuse here and there), only 4 of my sources are on the sources list (thankfully all are green): Forbes, Voice of America, Bloomberg Adria (huge question mark on this one because Bloomberg Adria — a Bloomberg Media + Mtel Swiss project was not listed), and National Geographic (another huge question mark because my citation was from a National Geographic Polska which mentions being under the National Geographic Society, but I'm not sure if that automatically makes NG Polska credible). THEN, the remaining 34 did not even show up on the list. I know the list is not exhaustive (👀?) but it just made my jaw drop a bit. Now, my questions:
- 1) UNIVERSITY SOURCE: For example, my draft has a citation from UND Today (UND Today is the University of North Dakota’s official online news source... according to their website). I'm not 100% sure but I think this was the only platform that shared this story because it was a university-focused space project. What do you think? Should I just not mention the project itself if a university press is the only thing that can back it up? Or will that fly?
- 2) WEBSITE PAGES: Okay, so there are instances where I had to cite some static website pages as a proof of statement. For example (not going to external-link too much just in case so I'll just mention), the LunAres Research Station Ambassadors page that shows Martina's profile under the SELENE and TERRA NOVA analogy astronaut missions. Or the ICEE Space homepage that has Martina's profile (as well) to proves she was indeed a part of the APICES mission (alternative options was a Facebook post from ICEE. Lol). Or the spacegeneration.org/regions/europe/northmacedonia page that mentions Martina Dimoska as one of the National Point of Contacts of North Macedonia. How do I proceed with these? I believed that these sources were important to verifying some statements I made. If these are unworthy sources, does that mean I have to take out those statements?
- 3) MACEDONIAN-BASED SOURCES: So I noticed a lot of Macedonian-domained outlets did say a lot about Martina... and I cited some I felt were credible (?) like Gradska.mk, Anthropol, MKD.mk, presedatel.mk, CRNOBELO.com... what yardstick can I use to measure the reliability of this kind of source? Especially measuring it in a way that a Wikipedia reviewer would (or rather understand the rationale).
- I know this is long. I sincerely apologise for the time you'll spend on this. If you feel I'm being too lazy and specific Wikipedia articles exist that addresses all my highlighted concerns exist, I wouldn't mind being pointed to the helpful articles. Anyone works. Thanks. 🥹 SpaceTrail (talk) 17:01, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- There is quite a lot to go over there. I think your best bet would be to start a discussion at either the Teahouse or the reliable sources noticeboard. They are more appropriate venues to receive feedback. 11WB (talk) 17:13, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- @11WB, I'm sorry. I knew this would be too overwhelming. Pardon the dump and thank you so much for your assistance. I really appreciate you. SpaceTrail (talk) 18:31, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @SpaceTrail. Glad to see the draft has now been accepted :) qcne (talk) 20:19, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia question: awards & independent coverage
Hi! Hope you’re well
I had a Wikipedia question come up from a recent call with one of the organisations we work with, and I wanted to sense check my understanding from a Wiki best practice point of view
Their CEO, Sigrid van Aken, has recently been awarded the Légion d’Honneur. She already has an “Awards and honours” section on her English Wikipedia page, but the only coverage I can currently find is on the organisation’s own site - which made me assume it wouldn’t be appropriate to add anything yet.
I was curious:
- Is the usual expectation that honours such as this should only be added once there’s independent secondary coverage? - And more generally speaking, if something is added to the English page in future, do other language Wikipedias ever update automatically, or is that always handled separately?
I’m mainly asking to make sure I’m thinking about COI and sourcing in the right way.
Thanks so much!! LaurenCanavan-Wiki (talk) 17:29, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Question from Frippenator (22:36, 3 February 2026)
Hi! I’m working on a draft of an article about a music album. When it comes to information regarding, say, the overarching theme of the album or how long the recording process took, do those strictly need to be from secondary sources? They’re details discussed on the artist’s website, but I’m unsure if that works in this circumstance, since I’d assume that’s a primary source. :P --Frippenator (talk) 22:36, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Athazagoraphobia
what can I do better so I can get Athazagoraphobia published and could you help me with it? Ghostrider00 (talk) 16:12, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Hi @Ghostrider00, because Wikipedia is not a dictionary, we don't accept articles that are simply definitions of neologisms, as they don't meet our notability criteria. If you're able to find multiple sources that discuss Athazagoraphobia in-depth (meeting WP:GOLDENRULE), then an article might be viable if it's expanded beyond a definition. The Help Project is holding a discussion on planning help pages to provide instructions for editors on how to use AI apps to work on Wikipedia pages. We're currently brainstorming the kinds of things AI apps can be used for, and the types of pages these can be applied to, in order to choose what help page to draft first. Drafting a how-to help page, and trying out the tools to test work flows (instructions), may provide much insight into the practicalities to apply and pitfalls to avoid in the use of AI on Wikipedia (all namespaces). Hi Qcne, I recently processed a sockpuppet investigation which concluded that Sasavara (talk · contribs), the creator of the article titled Joel Vicent Joseph ("formerly Mr Puaz"), is a sockpuppet of Randyjoel (talk · contribs), who had created the articles Mr Puaz and MrPuaz four times under different accounts, resulting in the creation-protection of the two latter article titles.
I am seeking to either speedily delete the Joel Vicent Joseph article per criterion G5 or move it to draft space, but to proceed, I would need your permission to exclude from consideration either your significant edits to the article (Special:Diff/1330659903 and Special:Diff/1330658809) or your acceptance of the draft. I just read the Wikipedia entry about Woordrow Wilson H,S. in Los Angeles. I was a reader there from 1963-69. Our principal, Attilio Parisi, had done a GREAT job choosing teachers. The group I started with the 1963 included many amazing individuals; many of us had enormous respect for our students and enjoyed teaching in such a culturally diverse community. As I recall, our student population included about 75% Chicano, 15+ % Asian-Asian-American students and a small minority of Caucasian and African American students. I still have friends who were students then. I hope you will change the phrasing in the first paragraph to say SOME (teachers yadayada…) instead of “teachers” (implying it was many) .
.I am 85 and have difficulty using my iPad keyboard or I’d go back to the page where I tried to suggest the edit of inserting “some” before “teachers” . I’m sure I’m not the only former WWHS faculty/staff who remains in touch with students from that period.
Also, I don’t think the article makes clear that the WWHS included grades 7-8 at that time. WWHS separated from the bldg on Eastern Avenue when the new WWHS was built up on Multnomah. --Pamela Hasegawa (talk) 13:48, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
