Conductor Matthias Manasi
Hello, I recently wanted to publish an article in English about the German conductor and pianist Matthias Manasi. However, I found that this is not possible because restrictions apply to a possible article page for “Matthias Manasi.” I would like to clarify that I want to publish this article about Matthias Manasi in English for purely personal reasons. I do not know the conductor Matthias Manasi personally and have not been commissioned to publish an article about him. I am a music lover who has attended several opera performances and concerts conducted by Mr. Manasi in Polish opera houses in recent years, and I have always found his conducting and musical performances to be outstanding. Given the numerous leadership positions this conductor has held as chief conductor and music director at renowned orchestras and opera houses, and given his international activities as a guest conductor, I consider an article about this conductor in English to be justified and appropriate. Could you please let me know how I can publish a short article about the German conductor Matthias Manasi in English? Thank you in advance for your reply. AnnaLesniewski. - Hi Anna, the proper process would be through Wikipedia:Articles for creation (the link has detailed instructions). The page was locked down because it was constantly being recreated by sock puppets. You can see the proper context at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthias Manasi, a discussion at WikiProject Opera, and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ArtistForum/Archive. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 15:09, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
Hi Patar knight, thank you very much for this information. Here is my draft of an English Wikipedia article about the German conductor Matthias Manasi.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AnnaLesniewski./sandbox
I used the French and German articles on Wikipedia as templates and examples for this article. Can the article be published as it is? I would be very grateful for any constructive suggestions for improvement, if necessary. Thank you in advance! Best regards. AnnaLesniewski. (talk) AnnaLesniewski. (talk) 13:01, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
Article Deletions Earlier in the Afternoon of Today (January 18th, 2026)
Hello, I'm just contacting about a couple (possibly more) pages you deleted earlier today. These pages were concerning the 6Kh4 and 6Kh5 bayonets previously and currently used in in use by many Eastern European militaries. While I understand the reasoning of the deletions, I wanted to ask if the articles might have been archived or if you possibly still had access to them in any shape or form.

- Except for some edits that are removed from the servers for legal reasons, all deleted articles are preserved. Why do you ask? -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 04:35, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- I was interested in the history, functions, use cases, etc., of the 6Kh(x) series of bayonets. Mostly because I had been thinking of buying one as of late. Anyhow, where might the preserved examples of these articles be? I found a few on Archive(.)org but was wondering if there might've been more up to date examples available. EyeAmAlinoria (talk) 04:42, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- On Wikipedia, they're only accessible by administrators such as myself or the Wikimedia Foundation. Off-Wikipedia, there are some websites that specifically try and cache every article that you might be able to find. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 06:55, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for letting me know! I'll settle for the publicly archived versions for now and in the future. Have a nice day/night! EyeAmAlinoria (talk) 07:44, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
