Hello, @Robloxguest3! The reason is because you did not contribute significantly to the page. In order to nominate a page to become a good article, you have to have at least 10% of the authorship on a page nor were in the top five contributors. This is according to step one of the good article nominator instructions. At the time of your nomination, you had 0.6% and were sixth. I want to say excellent work on what you did on the page dedicated to Riverside, but I know you cited that Phoenix was the last race whereas in the 1988 NASCAR Winston Cup Series schedule mentions Atlanta as the last race. @TVSRR: Thank you very much! And thanks a bunch for fixing my one goof-up that I should've picked up. As for your Phoenix statement, it was stated in the LA Times article that the November race at Riverside was switched to Phoenix. Additionally, according to NASCAR West Coast executive Ken Clapp's autobiography (and who was heavily involved in moving Riverside's races), Phoenix was meant to be a replacement for the November race. Both races were meant to be replaced by West Coast races in some way (the June race was eventually replaced by Sonoma for 1989). Based on this, I do not think that Riverside was replaced by Atlanta; rather, it was by two West Coast tracks to help replace a hole in the NASCAR West Coast scene. Cheers!
