Almost no e of this page has sources. Please add these, or the page should go back to being a draft.

Peter J. Rossky moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Peter J. Rossky. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Vegantics (talk) 21:45, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Vegantics, he is NAS, this is an automatic notability. Please revert or I will. Ldm1954 (talk) 22:44, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Please revert, as NAS he is highly notable. Ldm1954 (talk) 22:46, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

- @Vegantics, please revert, same as in other cases, these are very inappropriate draftifications of notable academics. Ldm1954 (talk) 22:45, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

- @Vegantics, also a highly inappropriate draftification. Ldm1954 (talk) 22:47, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

- @Vegantics, I am extremely perplexed by your draftification of Draft:Jun Lou; if there was any question I would have tagged this on March 4th when I cleaned up some minor peacock. Based upon both being an editor-in-chief of a significant journal (WP:NPROF#C8) and his publication record with an h-factor of 111 (WP:NPROF#C1) he qualifies as notable. At most a couple of his awards could do with citations, or they could have been removed as those which are not sourced are minor. I suggest reverting your draftification, or would you rather that I do? Ldm1954 (talk) 22:42, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- If this is your area of expertise, I’m happy to defer to you. The fact that the user only seems to edit about Rice University faculty and uses a promotional tone suggested WP:COI while the over reliance on primary sources and sourcing references from ChatGPT suggested a lack of reliable sources that would meet WP:NBIO. However I don’t have a strong opinion or objections to your reverting my draftifications. Vegantics (talk) 22:50, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, i will revert them. It is WP:NPROF that matters, not WP:NBIO. Often the only reliable source for academics is their university -- there are legal implications to lying on them. Ldm1954 (talk) 22:57, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- I appreciate the clarification and your thoughtful replies. Vegantics (talk) 23:08, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

Affiliation with Rice
@Galihauli, I strongly urge that you declare your affiliation with Rice (assuming that there is one). This does not preclude you from writing articles about notable academics at Rice, but it can lead to problems if there are indications that you are doing this for pay. Please read WP:COI carefully.
