Abigail is not a Dracula movie
Since Abigail is basically not a Dracula movie it didn't mention his name in the film or anything relating to the title can you remove Abigail from the Universal Monsters article it's just a Universal vampire film like An American Werewolf in London is a universal Werewolf film both are not considered part of the Universal monster franchise. ~2025-39863-84 (talk) 01:16, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- All I need you to do is remove Abigail from the Universal Monsters article's modern list I don't know if the Last Voyage of the Demeter counts or not but we do know Abigail doesn't count. ~2025-39863-84 (talk) 01:19, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- I'd suggest you research any details regarding this and make your points on the talk page and perhaps tag it for discussion. Andrzejbanas (talk) 01:21, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- I did on both articles talk pages just no replys. ~2025-39863-84 (talk) 01:33, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- I wouldn't ask for others to do it for you. Try to find sources that discuss it as being part of that franchise or series or not being part of it. Its a better approach than asking some other editor to edit wikipedia for you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 01:59, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- Abigail is like An American Werewolf in London they're both universal horror movies it was original meant to be a remake of Dracula's Daughter but they changed Abigail is a child it never said Dracula was her father never mentioned his real name or anything relating to the title it's not really a modern universal monster remake it's just a universal vampire film like An American Werewolf in London is a universal Werewolf film. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 13:51, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

Error you made on Jesus Franco filmography
Why did you delete "Eugenie de Sade" (1973) from Franco's filmography? That is one of his most famous films. It starred Soledad Miranda in what may have been her most highly acclaimed role for Franco, it was a major film in Soledad's filmography. Did you delete that title in error? Please fix it. It seems like you're saying the film never existed. That film has its own article on wikipedia! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eug%C3%A9nie_de_Sade
And here is an online review of the film: https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/32030/eugenie-de-sade/ ~2025-31278-73 (talk) 23:48, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- Are you User:HerbLightman? Andrzejbanas (talk) 08:58, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Also, to clarify, it was added without sources. Simple as that. Andrzejbanas (talk) 10:27, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Eugenie de Sade exists. It seems like you were saying you didn't believe that film existed. It's reviewed on pgs 225-229 in the Stephen Thrower Franco book, Volume 1. I just brought it to your attention because it seems like you deleted that title in error, and I thought you might want to correct it. Sorry to bother you. and thanks for not deleting more of my edits. ~2025-31278-73 (talk) 18:25, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- It did get me to go back and check the books so thanks in a way! Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:30, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Influence on unrelated media
You know both An American Werewolf in London and Abigail should be considered to be on the influence on unrelated media section on the universal monsters article including Jaws. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 13:55, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- You know Creature from the Black Lagoon kind of influenced Stephen Spielberg to make Jaws. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 13:59, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
Movies
Creature from the black lagoon influenced Jaws werewolf of london for the titles and the wolf man influenced An American Werewolf in London and Dracula's Daughter influence Abigail they are universal should be moved to the influence on unrelated media section of the Universal Monsters article would you agree. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 14:03, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know why you wrote three messages to tell me this, but if one specific film influenced another film, it might be better for the individual film article, not the bigger franchise article. That's my two cents. Andrzejbanas (talk) 14:13, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- Abigail is definitely not part of the universal monster franchise it's not a remake I don't know why can't just remove it. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 14:24, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- Its currently within the article on a one-off comment made from the director I think. You could try to start a larger discussion around it. In the meantime, spamming me about the same topic isn't really going to make me do anything different. Andrzejbanas (talk) 14:27, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- You should now know why because she's the daughter of a vampire crime boss Kristof Lazar in Dracula's Daughter it was a grown woman a countess. ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 14:28, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- I would try to edit article myself but it's locked ~2025-40589-47 (talk) 14:29, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- The Universal Monsters series is complicated. It's not really a narrative series until the 1940s films where the monsters cross-over. However, in promotional items (i.e: home video sets int he 90s) the monsters are more marketed together as a unit. Universal has been a bit flakely on any consistency or rhyme or reason on what monsters are or are no in the series and there isn't a lot of serious writing about it. So I wouldn't really try to apply narrative logic to say what is or is not in the series, despite generally agreeing with you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:36, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

Silksong Sales: 10 Million or 7 Million?
Posted this on the talk page as well, you can answer there, just messaging here since you're the one adding the 10 mil figure and I could be wrong here:
The 10 million figure keeps getting added, with a citation to this ariticle: [1]. However, Team Cherry themselves only state they sold around 7 million. [2]. Yes, I know Wikipedia prefers secondary sources, but the former article clearly frames it all as estimates; wouldn't the developer themselves be a more reliable source, especially when they report lower sales? TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 16:33, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Good points. I think we should probably include both. I think we can find secondary sources discussing Team Cherry's official statement and also include the other as an estimate. Unless i'm missing something (i.e: is the information out of date?) It would probably be more balanced to include both. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:37, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Team Cherry's statement is from a few days ago, blog post is dated as December 15, 2025. TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 17:01, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Some secondary sources discussing the 7 million claim from TC: [3] [4] [5] TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 17:02, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Totally fair and good research. I think if the other one is an estimate, it is potentially out of date. It could be used in some form, but the more specific numbers as reported by team cherry are probably the way to go here. I'd say just go for the IGN reporting source and that should be plenty good. Also, I appreciate us discussing this instead of going into an edit war. Its very refreshing to do so. Great work! Andrzejbanas (talk) 17:12, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- It can't be out of date since it's higher than the current sales number, It's just incorrect. Glad we could discuss this too, thank you! TheSilksongPikmin (talk | contribs) 17:21, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh I mean, it's out of date information. :) Like, its an estimate before this announcement. Andrzejbanas (talk) 17:37, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Season of the Sakura. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. - Hey if I had a nickel for every time I've made this mistake, I could edit wikipedia full time! No worries, just a friendly reminder.

Taking this here to avoid bloating the discussion further. I hope you go ahead and make that page on the video game canon regardless of where the conversation goes as your research looked interesting. Rollinginhisgrave (talk | edits) 04:07, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Drafts
Hello, is there anything you can do to help with Draft:Great Football or Draft:Kick and Run or Draft:Explorer (video game)? ~2026-86596-8 (talk) 05:37, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for sharing these with me. I'm relatively unfamiliar with these games. The latter Explorer probably just could use a bit more of an expanded lead to help it out as it seems to have enough content (i.e: reviews). Perhaps some sort of gameplay overview (you can use material in some of the reviews you've found and failing that, the manual to give off the key points of gameplay). A summary of the reviews (i.e: did the reviews highlight anything specific as a highlight of the game? any low-lights? anything that makes it stand out?) This might give it more push for it to not be drafted. The Kick and Run game might need more content in general in terms of sources. I don't know how much more I can contribute at the moment as I'm a bit busy planning for a holiday so I can't focus on this at the moment. Hope my advice helps! Video Business
Hi! So the Video Business discussion was archived here [6]
But I'm not sure whether to put Video Business under inconclusive or reliable on the sources page. Timur9008 (talk) 13:12, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ahhh. I mean. We both agreed. There was just little discussion on it. Would kind of help to have at least a third-person chime in. One of us could re-share it saying we had two agreements but would like at least one third-party chime in to give it a yay or nay. I'm guessing its because most people do not have access to it at all to be able to weigh in. Andrzejbanas (talk) 13:17, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah the Gale Research site is not available right now (Which has the past Video Business articles, at least on my end). I'm incorprating stuff that the Wayback Machine archived. Timur9008 (talk) 13:24, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
