Question from Abasiama Akpan (06:59, 7 February 2026)

Hi, it's a pleasure to meet you. I want to know what it takes for one to start a new Wikipedia page. Assuming it is about an entirely a new term, event, individual or concept. For instance, in 2015, a YouTube channel emerged with some unusual activities that caught public attention. Immediately, Unfavorable Semicircle

Wikipedia page emerged. --Abasiama Akpan (talk) 06:59, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

What's up pops. Wiki made you my mentor how do I make a new article. Keep is simple. --Bob Bartholomule Greeen (talk) 06:30, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Bob Bartholomule Greeen: welcome to Wikipedia dude! I think you should start at Help:My first article if you want for me to be short. Of course, if you have any further questions about anything, you know where to find me. Best regards, A09|(talk) 20:35, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Alphagrid mind (18:48, 10 February 2026)

@Alphagrid mind: Hey and welcome to Wikipedia! I left you some useful links on your talkpage. Did you had questions about any specific perspective? If you don't know how to start, WP:Introduction might be best. Of course, if you have any further questions about anything, you know where to find me. Can a user be cancelled?

I was the owner of Renamed user a87a633d4d19c36e3b62e8c90601b80aae067c38c786fa3c6a0b523a58bc127b: Difference between revisions (talk · contribs). I deleted the account on Apple app version of Wikipedia because I had considered that it had already been not useful. However, I read in WP:LOGIN It is not possible to delete an account. Because all contributions are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 License and GFDL, every edit must be attributed to a user. Therefore, why you could delete it (renamed and blocked the user)?

At that time, I knew very few to Wikipedia. I just remember, "I entered a place of a website and I chose to delete it. I think I also filled in the reason." Noordpunt (talk) 18:19, 12 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Noordpunt: Please see meta:Account vanishing. While account deletion isn't possible as is on other forums due to license requirements, it's also worth noting that WMF does not hold account data indefinitely (like others do). User vanishing is the best way forward to comply with various legislatives around the world (as chosen by WMF Legal department) while still preserving license requirements. Another technicality, user wasn't blocked, it was locked (logouts every logged-in session, users cannot login back into the accounts) and applies on a global level compared to (mostly) local blocks. Does this answer your questions? If it doeasn't, don't hesitate to ask. Best regards, A09|(talk) 21:48, 12 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Notability standards for individual article eligibility

Hi there, could you help me improve edits on this article draft? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Haewon_(singer) I thought the individual would be notable enough nowadays as the leader of her group, with lots of mention in the news, but apparently Wikipedia does not think so. Thank you very much. InvisPerson5009 (talk) 16:24, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@InvisPerson5009: Hi! I'd like to help but I'm rather unknowledgeable about Korean musicians and respective music scenes, however you'd might want to ask for help from fellow editors in music topics. There are Pop music WikiProject and the general WikiProject Music help pages, where I believe you'd get the attention needed. Sadly as far as I can tell there is no Kpop related WP project. Hopefully this helps. Best regards, A09|(talk) 16:30, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you once again, your advice/assistance is greatly appreciated! I will do my best with outside sources. InvisPerson5009 (talk) 17:07, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Kneecapsarewonderful (21:48, 16 February 2026)

Thank you in advance!

I'm doing this because I love Wikipedia as a reader. And I have felt annoyed that pages I read a lot are so full of misinformation.

I want to increase, not decrease, truth?

I am an openly opinionated person, and this is me! https://www.reddit.com/r/ItEndsWithLawsuits/comments/1r5padg/friends_lovers_and_haters_i_personally_will_be/

I look forward to our dialogue. And I believe that truth is different than my opinion! --Kneecapsarewonderful (talk) 21:48, 16 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
