Greetings everyone!

This article on the 2008 Kandhamal Massacre is horribly written. It's written as if the victims are the perpetrators of this violent event.

This event should be called the 2008 Kandhamal Massacre rather than 2008 Kandhamal Violence, as the latter assumes that Christians persecuted Hindu nationalists.

Here, I write the article of the Holocaust in the same style of this article, to show how horrible this is:

The Holocaust was the violence against Jews incited by Fascist governments in Europe.

While it is true that the Holocaust was violence, it was much more than that! It was a genocide.

In the same way, the 2008 Kandhamal Massacre was more than violence.

I propose that the text be changed to this:

"The 2008 Kandhamal Violence, also called the 2008 Kandhamal Massacre, was the massacre^[1][2] of Christians by Hindu fascist^[3] groups such as the RSS, VHP, and Bajrang Dal in Kandhamal, Odisha^[a]."
