| Description | TBILISI, Georgia -- U.S. Army Europe commander Lt. Gen. Mark P. Hertling (left) greets Republic of Georgia Land Forces Commander Col. Giorgi "Gigi" Kalandadze at the Ministry of Defense here, June 22. Hertling and Kalandadze met to advance training collaboration between the two armies. Hertling visited during Shared Horizons 2011, an emergency civil response exercise involving troops from USAREUR, the Republic of Georgia, and the (U.S. state of) Georgia Army National Guard.
