Vauxhall railway station is a proposed railway station in the Vauxhall area of Liverpool. If it is constructed it will be sited between Moorfields and Sandhills on the Merseyrail Northern Line. Construction of the new station was proposed in the 2006 Merseyside Local Transport Plan, where it is listed as Vauxhall/Stanley Dock. [1]

In January 2017 it was again proposed by Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson, as part of the city's North Docks project and also Everton Football Club's potential plans to build their new stadium in the area.[2][3][4] The station was again referenced in the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Long Term Rail Strategy, where the business case was described as "performing well". [5] In February 2025 Everton FC's Bramley Moore Dock Stadium opened with a test event with 10,000 fans - a fifth of the stadium's planned capacity. Severe overcrowding at the nearest current station, Sandhills, has lead to renewed calls for either a new station or tram link to serve the stadium and Ten Streets area.[6]
