More modern day 'caisonians' like Chalkdust of Trinidad,
Mighty Gabby of Barbados, and Lord Cam of Nevis are
also great forces to be reckoned with.
The reason being, this page is a brief description of what a calypsonian is, not a list of calypsonians. We have List_of_calypso_musicians for that. The brief list of leading calypsonians of the 20th century in the article allows people to find out more if they are unfamiliar with the field, but to list minor calypsonians seems mistaken, because where will it end? If we mention Gabby and Cam why not Small Island Pride, Rabbit, Wizzard and so on? and if we do that then we end up with the article being largely a list of calypsonians.
