Schwamb kämpfte als christlich motiviertes Mitglied des „Kreisauer Kreises“ gegen die nationalsozialistische Diktatur und war am fehlgeschlagenen Umsturzversuch vom 20. Juli 1944 beteiligt. English: Ludwig Schwamb (* July 30, 1890 in Undenheim; † January 23, 1945 in Berlin-Plötzensee) was a lawyer, a social democratic politician and a close collaborator of Wilhelm Leuschner. Schwamb fought as a christian motivated member of the "Kreisau Circle" against the National Socialist dictatorship and was involved in the failed coup attempt on 20 July 1944.
