F.M. Faraz (born July 1985)[1], ISNI: 0000000517707990[3] is a German-Persian poet, novelist, and cybersecurity scientist.[2] His work spans literary fiction, poetry, and cybersecurity research. He currently resides in Germany.[4]

Early Life and Writing Career

Faraz, whose full name is Faraz Fatemi Moghaddam.[2], began writing at the age of eight, crafting short stories before progressing to published works. His debut novel, The Harmony[5], is a two-volume dark fantasy series released between 2023 and 2024. His next novel, The Scoundrel[1], is scheduled for publication in Q3 2025. His works are published by Arpin Publications[6]

The Harmony

The Harmony[7] follows the arrest of a physicist whose groundbreaking discovery disrupts scientific and metaphysical paradigms. The narrative explores themes of human existence, time, and parallel realities. The second volume, The Harmony: Branches of Destiny, expands on these ideas, focusing on the interconnectedness of fate and the fundamental nature of reality.[8]

Poetry

Faraz began writing poetry in 2000[9], with his first collection, The Wander, published informally in 2005. His second collection, The Legend of Doubt, was released in 2012 and republished in 2021. His latest poetry book, The Eighty One[9], was published in 2024 and delves into themes of human emotion, relationships, and existential reflection.

Cybersecurity and Academic Work

In addition to his literary career, Faraz has contributed to cybersecurity research.[10] He was a researcher at the University of Göttingen[11] and has published multiple academic papers.
